Today is one of those days where I just wanna fight my kids father.
Our roommate, which is my cousin who is only 17, just got in trouble with my uncle and has to go back home. We live in a 2 bedroom house with 2 kids. So our oldest (2) usually falls asleep in the living room and stays in there at night while our youngest (1 month) sleeps in our room. I have wanted to make the second bedroom the kids room since we have lived in this house (going on 3 years) but never could because it was my cousins room. Now that he’s moving out I mentioned it to my boyfriend and he’s getting all pissy because he wants to turn it into his game room instead. Am I wrong for being mad about that? Our two year old needs his own room. Where he can have his own little setup with his toys and bed and everything.
I definitely am! While he was at work I moved our sons bed and dresser in the room and got it all set up so he couldn’t try to talk me out of it lol.
You are not wrong at all. When our son was born, my fiance lost his office as it became the nursery. We had a corner of the bedroom set up as his office (and he worked from home so it was a bit more important than a 'game room', and even still he gave up the room for our son).
Nope you aren't wrong. Tell him to grow up and get over it. Your kids come before video games.
kids come first. he can buy a bigger house or a doghouse if he wants a game room that bad. 😂
No you are not wrong!!! Your kids deserve a room more than he deserves a game room!!! 🤦♀️
Yeah no, kids needs come first.
He can go have a corner in the living room for his "game room"
The way our house is set up, there’s the living room a middle room and then the kitchen. The middle room has all of our sons toys in it but I told him all of his toys will be in his own room and he can make the middle room his game room since it isn’t used for anything else. I’m sticking to it. He doesn’t need a whole entire bedroom for his game when we have two kids.
He's a grown man. Why the heck does he need a game room? How old is he? I'd stand my ground on this one.
