@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
My son has no interest in walking. He can walk along the couch and he can stand on his own for a while, but every time we try to get him to walk he just falls forward our backward because he thinks it’s funny.
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him I get a message that he doesn't have a car so I have to get my son, or he tells me i have to run him out there. I'm already having cut hours at work and getting no child support from him since he's been continuously in and out of work.
Question mamas...my baby has eczema on his forehead and cheeks and I already brought him to the pediatrician and they said they don’t want to prescribe anything for it because it’s on his face and they don’t want to put any prescription cream on his face so they said to use a cream not lotion cause cream would moisturize more so I have been using Aveeno Baby moisturizing cream on him daily and it hasn’t helped! What else can I try? It’s itchy cause he’s rubbing it with his hand on his forehead and he’s cranky.
I need to chat with someone about my partners perving on other girls and talking about random women who we see in public I can’t deal with it aswell as him searching one specific female work colleague on Facebook I’m getting really irritated by his behaviour I’m finding it ridiculously pathetic to the point I’m not wanting to speak to him. He’s literally staring and head turning and then talks to me about them even on the school run one of my sons friends mums he pervs on every day he’s even started parking behind her and every day before i get out of the car to pick my son and our daughter up he talks about this boys mum and then as soon as I get in the car he’s speaking about her he even knows her reg plate number to it’s all getting to weird and to much.

Sorry, that has to be annoying! This does remind me of the discomforts of apartment living, our upstairs neighbor had his booty call over every weekend and we could hear them having loud sex all of the time. Then water running a few mins later. Gross!

Hahah omg ew

Let him walk around everywhere! Make a funny face and jump around when they bang. Let your kiddo have fun. Also, be sure to drop a sweet note under their door that says, you’re sorry about the noise that your baby is learning to walk, but it won’t take forever. Please excuse the noise for a short while and enjoy these cookies. We all know it’ll take a long time, but it might make them feel better meanwhile. Good luck!

Lol cute idea

Not gonna lie. I had neighbors who did this. I started to stomp around when they would bang on their ceiling. Not for very long but just enough so they realized people were just walking.
ᗪ··
Right. Idk, I guess we’re all supposed to tiptoe around. Lol we have upstairs neighbors as well with zero kids and they’re the loudest ever in the mornings. But we wouldn’t ever say anything or bang on their ceiling 🙄 They’re just heavy walkers lol

@mommaofjais, I’m not sure what they expect. Personally I would say let him walk around, eventually their arms will get tired. It’s your sons home, he has a right to play.
ᗪ··
Exactly! I’m just going to continue to teach him that we have to be mindful of our neighbors. I can’t wait to move, though. They’re gonna really hate us in 5 months when we have a stomping toddler AND a crying newborn haha 🤷🏻♀️
🌸GoodVibeTribe🌸·
Start stomping YOUR feet every time you walk from now on. Make everyone stomp in the house 😂 that’s what I’d do until they finally come say something & id Tell em since they wanna be petty you’re gonna do it too. Until they accept a CHILD walking, they can fuck off 😂🖕🏼
ᗪ··
😂 exactly! It’s beyond ridiculous
🌸GoodVibeTribe🌸··
@mommaofjais, I hated living in an apartment for this reason. Our walls were paper thin on top of it so I mean, the tiniest noises you’d hear & they would make noise complaints constantly 🙄 they really called the cops because one night THEIR dog started barking & whining & it made my dog bark literally THREE times & it stopped & they said our dog “never stops barking” which if anyone knew my dog, you’d know she wouldn’t even bark when we tried to make her lmao. She was always quiet.. other dogs barking & whimpering will make her let out one or two barks & she’s back to silent. So it was so annoying lol.
ᗪ··
Oh, wow 🤦🏻♀️

When my first was a couple months old we would put her in her bouncer, and the downstairs neighbor would band on the walls and yell at us. He even stormed upstairs and banged on our door, we never answered and never stopped. My daughter was maybe 15 lbs bouncing in her jumper 🙄 that guy was an ahole.
ᗪ··
Wow. Seriously? I don’t understand what people expect when living in apartments. There will never be total silence
Harley Quinn ·
I dealt with that. They even had the nerve to call the cops who basically said if they were that sensitive to noise, don’t live in an apartment. 🤷♀️ after a point I stopped caring and was always stomping myself because he was a POS.
ᗪ··
Omg no they didn’t! Ridiculous
Harley Quinn ··
@mommaofjais, yep! When the officer left my apartment, he looked at my son, who was like one and a half, and said, “give me a big jump.” 😂 We felt less bad about the whole thing afterwards lol
ᗪ··
@littleonemorning, hahah that’s awesome! Good for the officer.

People walk, even if you are walking "quietly" you can still hear it.
Start taking a broom to the ceiling whenever you can hear them. Lol. Thats the petty me in speaking

Yeah, they’re just rude is all

I would buy him some tap shoes, or tape pennies to the bottom of his 🤷🏼♀️

I would let him walk ALLLLLL he wants.. your neighbors will get over it!! I was a 1st floor tenant and could tell my upstairs neighbors had a kid and it never bothered me! That’s crazy.. also send a letter to management too!
ᗪ··
Yeah! We used to be first floor too and I just knew that it was bound to happen. And what’s crazy is these people have small children themselves. You’d think they’d get it.
Page Samantha·
Ignore it! We had the same issue in our old apartment when my son was 1 it was absurd. Try bringing it up to ur landlord we did and she told us to ignore him and she would talk to him
ᗪ··
We won’t do anything unless they come up here and talk to us. But it makes me not even want to make my son walk quietly. I’m just like, “hey let’s play tag” 😂 not really but I want to. It’s just so rude.
Page Samantha··
@mommaofjais, lmao I DID THE SAME THING😂 it’s not 10pm yet kid we got time😂 jk but that’s ridiculous he also used to only complain when my son walked never an adult🙄 if it’s not past your towns quiet time then u are fine let the mf be mad and don’t limit your daily lives for their comfort it’s 2 completely different households with different families
ᗪ··
000, Right? Like, he’s in bed by 8. I guess I’m supposed to tape him to floor until then 🙄 the only thing that really bothers me is that it scares him. It is loud when they hit the ceiling and I’m guessing our floors are super thin bc you feel the whole thing shake. And I’m just like, are you freaking kidding? Don’t live in a 3 bedroom on the first floor if you can’t handle some noise. It’s inevitable.
