I’m in such a down mood tonight. I was making monthly budgets and savings things and decided to make a budget for my daughters birthday in two weeks and I’m screwed. I’ve already ordered the cake and booked the building which is $125 combined. My SO can’t really spend much more on anything including gifts or party stuff and since the woman I used to babysit for left me hanging in the dark I’m not bringing in any kind of money right now to help in anyway. I know my mom will help with some things but I just really feel so disappointed. I know she won’t even remember and it’s not about the things and all of that but I wanted her to have an awesome Moana party and I was really hoping to get her the kitchen from target that’s on clearance for $70 because she LOVES to play with her friends kitchen that is the exact same one. I feel so down hearted tonight and I know I’m not going to be able to give her the party that I want to give her or get her anything which makes me feel so much worse. I bought her a blanket and a stuffed animal that she picked out before Christmas and have been hoarding them in the spare room so at least she will have something from me I guess. 😔 sorry to be such a Debby downer I just really needed to get that out but everyone I try to talk to just doesn’t understand

She will have an amazing party and birthday, because you love her so much. She won't care about the decorations or if she gets a lot of toys, she'll be happy having a fun with friends and family.
I don't know if you want any suggestions, so if you don't please ignore the following! Can you ask friends and family to maybe make and bring some food? Like nachos or pizza, something simple? Get a Moana coloring book and color all the pictures to decorate the place with! Can you cancel the cake and make one yourself? My stepsister made the Moana cake for my niece's birthday this year and it came out great! She decorated it with colored icing and a Moana figurine set she got cheap at Target.

Thank you so much for the kindness and the suggestions! I’m gonna call my close aunts tomorrow and see if they’d like to make some things for the party and I’m pretty sure my daughter has a Moana coloring book at my moms house somewhere that she only colored one or two pages in! I’ll definitely look for it tomorrow! Thank you again!! 😊
