Ok be honest...is it wrong of me to not let my baby go over to her uncles house (husbands bro)?...heres why....for one my husband & him just really started talking & hanging out thanks to me telling my husband to invite him to our wedding & rekindle their relationship. 2- when he came over once my baby CRIED BLOODY MURDER when he said hi or tried to pick her up. She NEVER cries ,she is so friendly & likes everyone lol. This was about 8 months ago however so she may be a little fonder now. And 3- mainly bc they have a HUGEEE ass pitbull at their APARTMENT that is an indoor dog apparently. I don't do dogs & I don't feel comfortable with my baby around pits, I don't think any small kids should be around them, that's MY opinion. You pitbull lovers I don't wanna hear it lol....they have teeth & lock jaw so they WILL bite if they wanted too regardless of how they are raised.
In my opinion you're not wrong at all. I wish my mom was more careful where she took me when I was a child. That's one thing I plan on doing when I have my babies. A bloody murder cry is a big spiritual sign to me, plus its always a good idea to prevent something before it happens. Love those instincts!
All dogs have teeth and lock jaw 🤷
I also wouldn’t allow my kids to go at all!!!
I mean for the safety of your dd. I’m still lmao about your brother in law taking the dog to your house I mean how rude. He didn’t even ask? I could of imagine your dh face😂😂😂
Riiiight! Who does that...then to have it in my kitchen. Oh man I wish y'all could've seen my face 😒😂😂😂😂
@linacorral1562 lmao right? Like people don't have to be a genius to know the basic of pit bulls and they definitely have some kind of special jaw shit soooo lol. But like I said...i don't like ANY dogs and they all have TEETH and can bite WHENEVER THEY WANT TO even if they are the most calm angel soft gentle playful baby loving goofy sweet prancing dog on this earth.
Ppl don't have to be uneducated to speak their thoughts and opinions on pitbulls on their own posts this isn't a debate ....that's crazy! "If you have nothing nice to say don't speak!" Acting like Donald Chump on Mom life lmfao ppl like pitbulls and some don't. Dinosaurs aren't eating dinner at McDonald's tonight either hahaha. 😂😂😂😂
I personally wouldn’t leave my baby girls alone with ANY men other than my husband.
But I’m just over protective and am terrified of how sick this world can be 😖
If I’m there, we can stay as long as she wants.
Oh no.i would never leave them with him alone, he does have a wife but she isn't any better so they have zero chances of babysitting or us going over there period. We never go anyway lol, just my husband on some sports days etc
Whatever it's called, they have something with their jaw that other dogs don't have. From many vets mouth. Doesn't matter what kinda dog it is really tho idc they all have teeth. It could be a German Shepard, chihuahua, Lassie, Pluto and I still feel the same way. @nerdasaurasrex
bunch of uneducated people talking about pitbulls 😒
Maybe thats HER OPINION lol I don't think she has to be uneducated to not like pitbulls 😂 don't take it personal unless you're one yourself😂😂😂I didn't think Moms Life required Pitbull Police 💂 ppl are entitled to their own opinions. Freedom of speech.😊
they do NOT have lock jaw. only snakes and gators have lock jaw. i am a vet assistant. also have a pitbull and 4 kids
I would say he is allowed to come around if your there. Especially since she’s acted that way before. Trust your gut. A child shouldn’t be forced around someone they are uncomfortable with anyway.
I disagree with the pit bull statement though.
I don’t like pits either.
I have an American Foxhound mix dog and I’m not sure how she will act when my baby comes. At the end of the day she is an animal period.
But as far as the baby crying around her uncle , his spirit may be off and my baby wouldn’t be around him .
Too many perverts In families nowadays.
Better safe than sorry
@doubleksmommy, I run everyone’s name through Megan’s Law as well family or not. Run the Uncle’s name.
I don’t agree with the pit statement but I agree if it makes you uncomfortable avoid it. There are other dogs I’m terrified of that a ton of people tell me is ridiculous but they make me uncomfortable so I understand where you’re coming from. As for her screaming around him that’s odd. My daughter did the same thing to very few people and I never let her around them alone. She loved just about everyone else. Sooo I wouldn’t let her go alone, the only man I’ve ever let my daughter be with alone is my husband.
I'm scared of EVERY dog ever since I was chased by a cocker spanial when I was skating at 9yrs old 😂 but this pit is crazy HUGEEEE. His head is damn near the size of her body, I just can't. He has a gf/wife that would be there but she is a crazy talkative drunk lol...im not taking her around her suspect uncle that made her cry, a horse sized dog and a crazy drunk lady that'd talk her ear off...no no😂😂
@doubleksmommy, yeah I definitely don’t blame you! Better safe than sorry. Any animal is iffy around little kids to me. My daughter can be playing with our cat and I’m hawk eyeing to make sure he doesn’t hurt her. 🤷🏻♀️ definitely go with your instincts!
Yep. Trust your gut. I would never leave my kids with anyone who I didn't know completely, especially a male (same thing if I did know him, men suck). As for the dog, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm terrified of pitbulls, no matter how sweet one can be lmao. I was attacked by one as a kid and that dog was the sweetest dog ever so yeah I don't trust ANY dog when it comes to children.
My son cry’s like that to my family members, because one he doesn’t even know them🤷🏼♀️. I won’t let my child to go over there definitely with a PITBULL. That’s one dog I won’t ever have in my house or near me or my child. I don’t trust Pitbulls, I won’t even turn my back on one.
Right! Thank you for underatanding. I know there's the ones that preach pit bulls are the most loving dog if they are raised right etc etc. But how many times have pitbull attacks on babies been on the news with their parents crying " he's never done this he's never bit anyone. He must've been startled " like mf shut up..if it has teeth, it can bite WHENEVER it feels like it. Any dog. And the lock jaw thing on pits...hell no. Not worth the risk. And his bro doesn't understand that. Oh well.
@doubleksmommy
You’re welcome and I most definitely agree. Pitbulls are the most dangerous ones.
Long ago, I was reading about this heartbroken story about this family. The baby was over at family member house who have a Pitbull and the PitBull was indoor and outdoor dog, and the baby was sleeping on the couch and the mother went to the bathroom and one of the family member was in the kitchen and the dog come inside the house and out of nowhere he started to attacked the baby while he was sleeping and the little baby didn’t make it.
In my opinion you're not wrong at all. I wish my mom was more careful where she took me when I was a child. That's one thing I plan on doing when I have my babies. A bloody murder cry is a big spiritual sign to me, plus its always a good idea to prevent something before it happens. Love those instincts!
I say trust your gut and your daughters cry when she’s around him!!
I wouldn’t let my kids go either. They don’t go anywhere without us and if they stay with someone is because of an emergency.
Exactly. It was so weird. Like I mean she never cries around fam, strangers... anyone! Ever.
My babies don’t either. My son now cries every time he sees his pediatrician because he had to hold him down because he had an ear infection not long ago and that traumatized him so he cries his lungs out. He used to be all smiles and giggles with him until that.
Kids know, who is bad news and who is good. I wouldnt leave my daughter at any family members house that I'm not extremely close too. So follow your instincts
Exactly! That's what my sister said... Like kids KNOW. When she cried I kinda looked at him side eyed like dude she ain't feeling u 😂😂
I say trust your instincts. I dont agree about the pits but if something makes you uneasy avoid it if you can.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
My son cry’s like that to my family members, because one he doesn’t even know them🤷🏼♀️. I won’t let my child to go over there definitely with a PITBULL. That’s one dog I won’t ever have in my house or near me or my child. I don’t trust Pitbulls, I won’t even turn my back on one.
