Hi momma's! I have a question. Has anyone had a lil guy that just won't use a blanket? It's getting really cool at night here and my 19 month old will not use a blanket. His blanket Sleepers don't keep him warm enough. So I'm forced to run a space heater at night and sometimes nap time. Any advice?

It's a expensive heater with all these safety things. Best I could do. I'm in North CA. I swear it's warmer outside than in our home 90% of the time lol it's a old drafty house. No insulation in walls only a bit in crawl space. And 1970 windows that you feel all the cold air through. But we are hopping to move to a better place in a few months! Fingers crossed!

We have the heat on constantly 24/7. Just to keep the entire house nice and warm. My daughter hates the blanket on her but loves to cuddle with it. Lol, during winter we always have her in long sleeve pjs. She hates anything on her feet, so hence why the heat is always on. We co-sleep &’ Our bedroom is usually around 70-72.

My sons the same age and same way. He refuses to have anything on him while he sleeps so I just double up on his socks, use fleece pjs and keep his bedroom well insulated with the vent wide open but close most of the other vents in the house so the heat mostly goes to his room. By doing this it seems to work and more heat circulates to his room and it’s enough to keep him comfy and my mind at ease.

I agree with the fleece footed pajamas. Do you have the heat on in your house? What’s the temp in his room?

Can't afford to run heat here rate hikes! So we keep it real cool. His room is kept at 70 with a heater and thermal drapes. Everyone else is fine because we use blanket! Lol!

@bsbnutt, Is he getting cold? 70 seems pretty reasonable. We keep our heat at 68 and my son is fine with fleece footed pajamas. What would the temp be without the heater? How cold is it there?

Fleece footed pajamas will keep him warmer than regular jammies. You could also put socks on him under the pajamas
