Anyone use Velcro swaddle blankets at night on their LO? My daughter seems to really like the Swaddle Me blanket we bought tonight but my husband and I are nervous about leaving her in it all night lol
Do you swaddle? How long did you swaddle? Was it hard to break the habit of them needing to be swaddled to sleep? Do you swaddle during the day or only at night? Please tell me everything about swaddling!!!
Swaddling For those who swaddle at night, I have two questions. What does your lo wear under the blanket? And when they wake up do you unswaddle them to feed or leave them swaddled?

Keeping baby warm at night We are big, BIG fans of swaddle blankets at night, but my daughter just started rolling back-to-stomach today. So no more swaddle! Now I'm not sure what to do to ensure she's warm enough at night. What do your little ones sleep in?
Stupid questions but is a receiving blanket the same as a swaddling blanket?

A lot of the time we have to use them for our son because he's a master at escaping a blanket swaddle and then he gets super fussy.

Awww I have a lot of those swaddled things but haven't gotten to use them yet because Grayson hasn't decided to come out and see us yet lol

yep I did this with my daughter and she was perfectly fine. helped her sleep for longer periods of time. then again I have a snuza monitor that clips to her diaper when she sleeps so that gives me reassurance too. but I used the pods that zipped until she was about 8 lbs, then the velcro ones.

@jessicarose0602, thanks, that gives me some peace of mind. Lol. My daughter is 8 1/2 lbs so the Velcro is right on track with what you did. I guess I am just paranoid I put her in there too tightly lol

I use one every night. My LO hates being swaddled but the nurses told me there's a smaller chance of sids if he's swaddled so I do it anyway (-:

I have! and by the time I get up to feed her she normally has her arms wiggled out of it lol.

I swaddled both my kids with the swaddle blanket the hospital fave me. It zipped then you put their arms down and swaddle it and it would Velcro. It's hard as a mom (especially first time) always fearing you will do something wrong. Just relax. (; I think most Drs actually recommend newborns to be swaddled since it can reduce risk for SIDS

I have used the Velcro swaddle on both of my babies. They slept better in them, all night. Lifesavers!! Be careful when u wash them, the Velcro has to be closed or it will ruin other clothes
