Been at the ER with Bug for a few hours now. Just got into a room. I took her to the Dr. this morning cause she was really congested and her Pedi said she tested negative for flu and RSV but to watch her cause she has a left ear infection and it could’ve just been too early to detect the flu or RSV and throughout the rest of the day she was okay. You could tell she didn’t feel good but nothing bad. A little after 10 my friend who was cuddling her while I did some dishes noticed she felt realllllyyy warm. The thermometer I was using kept saying it was fine the highest it showed was 99 so I trusted my gut and used her rectal one and sure enough it was 103.5! She wouldn’t drink anything, wouldn’t eat a popsicle, was shivering and freezing but wrapped in her fuzzy blanket and just looked so tired and sick. She has a congested cough, hoarse voice, extremely runny/stuffy nose and the fever that spiked earlier. Good vibes sent our way would be soooo appreciated! I’m hoping we find out what this is and get to go home soon.

@thatcrazymomof2, @sherrynygirl, she has the symptoms of a Upper Respiratory Infection and her ear infection so we’re staying on her antibiotics that her Pedi prescribed. Her fever finally came down to 99 and she finally drank some sprite and ate a popsicle and started talking and playing a little bit again. Now just gotta rotate the Tylenol and Motrin and hope her antibiotics start helping soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
