It pisses me off that Disney didn’t give any warning or heads up that they were marking up prices of their tickets in the new year.
Four weeks ago I checked and for my husband and I and my daughter it was $535 for a two day park hopper.
Now look!!! Same tickets! No difference in anything besides the 25% increase. 😡
Let’s cross our fingers that this little mini trip is a good one.
Let’s hope that this means the parks will be slow since it’s January AND it’s so expensive now.
So irritated with Disney right now.

@monavidaaxo, @momma_of_1, seriously! From 2010-2013 I had season passes and lived about 15 mins down the road. So I’ve gone probably 30-50 times, But, that was way before I had my daughter.
We are taking her on he 28th for a few days as a last “hurrah” before she’s not an only child anymore. We already booked our air B&B, and 11 people total are going so there is no backing out now. I just wish they’d given everyone a heads up.

Unfortunately Disney is never slow 😥 we had passes last year and didn't really enjoy them. Way too crowded and now way too expensive to even renew. They were very quiet about price changes last year too I had seen a news article mentioning it the night before the prices changed and I rushed down there and bought the passes. Sure enough the next day they were changed with hardly any notice at all!

Oh man! I had season passes from 2010 to 2103 and there were plenty of slow days / times then. I’m hoping I get lucky again!
Im a big fan of going at 5pm until close..when everyone is watching the fireworks we rode like 10 rides! Haha.
I lived so close that I could see the fireworks from my apartment so I didn’t need to watch them, haha.
I also know that January/ February are the “slowest” times of the year. That’s specifically why we decided on this time. So, fingers crossed i get lucky again!😂🤞🏼

yes hopefully you let lucky my daughters birthday is in February so we took her last year on a Tuesday or Wednesday and it was so full 😥 we live super close about 10 minutes away. I think this year we'll just renew our Knott's passes. Good luck and have fun !!

Oh man..my husband and I were planning on taking our kids there in the beginning of February for the weekend. But idk about it know that they increase their price 😞

Is your daughter small? She might be able to pass as a 2 year old. They don’t ask for proof of age. We took our daughter when she was 3 yr 2 months and she sat in the stroller and we walked right in.

Also I would suggest not doing park hopper. With a toddler you won’t be able to visit both parks in one day. The lines are long and it’s a lot of walking. Just do one park at a time.

She’s 3 but she looks like and is the size of an average 5 year old. So, I’m definitely paying. Haha!
I used to bring two toddlers (3 & 4)that I nannied for back when I lived down In Garden Grove and we always had a good time. 🤷🏼♀️. I’m good about knowing exactly when to go / what times are slowest.
I’m just hoping that it’s like when I used to go all the time with them back in 2013.
It’s been a good 5 years since though! I’m sure everything could have changed since this Star Wars / GOTG craze. 🤦🏼♀️. Haha!
Luckily I budgeted a grand for tickets + stay + bippity boppity boutique, so I’m only like $200 over budget. 😅

oh ok yeah you’ll have to pay for her then. It’s definitely changed in the last 5 years! There is no slow time anymore, it’s always busy because of the annual pass holders. Plus now they have the 3 day pass for so cal residents which goes from Jan-May so that adds to the crowd. That’s what we’ll be buying this year so we can take the kids. But my daughter is 4 now and looks 5, so we’ll have to pay for her 😩

It’s so crazy how expensive children’s tickets are.
I feel like either adult tickets need to be cheaper because they say Disneyland’s more for “kids” and adults are just accompanying their kids or they need to make 10 and under prices cheaper.

Because it’s so much walking, sometimes it’s better just to do one park one day then hit the other on day two.
When I went 2 years ago we got park hopper tickets but hardly used the hopper part because of how much walking and our feet started to hurt
