Any advice on a toddler who just learned to crawl out of crib and now will not go to bed. I’ve been trying for the last hour it’s past his regular bedtime he’s clearly tired but still crawls out of his crib. We don’t co sleep never had with him unless we are spending the night at somebody’s house. I am so tired with my newborn 😞 I need to find a way to help this child stay in his crib lol

That’s so good 😊 don’t we just love when things work out! I was so nervous about him not taking his naps anymore lol
So thought I would update this post! @thisisfeeney, I found the solution:) I have a video monitor so when I lay him down I talk him through it “your gonna lay down and take a nap” things like that. And then I leave the room close the door and watch him though the monitor. When he gets up to try and climb the rail I calmly tell him “it’s time to take a nap lay down and close your eyes” through the speaker it has. So far it’s working!
I’m dealing with this right now. It’s been a nightmare. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 we get through this. Lol
How long has it been for you?? He literally just learned today and I’m praying for patience. Currently sitting in his room watching him in the crib hoping hers worn himself out enough
@jadego, it’s been two weeks since I found out. I bought a toddler guard rail and he just has such a hard time laying down still.
Nice! I sadly don’t have one of those. But we’ve been doing ok. I say him down and rub his head which he seems to like. His eyes get heavy lol. Then after a few mins I sneak out like a ninja and he stays in bed!
