Girl, after my c section i was so drugged up and i was selfishly in to much pain to stop the meds for a week then by that time my milk just never came in and i didnt want to put myself threw the pain and hassle of latching 🤷🏻 people can call me selfish all they want, with the next if there are less complications i will 100% try my best.

So no. You wouldnt be selfish. But i also know my friends who have breastfeed that felt the exact same way and around the same time and decided to truck on threw it and dont regret it. Its your choice 100%.

I tried breastfeeding but I had to have a emergency c-section and whenever I was in recovery they gave my daughter a formula bottle, she latched at the hospital but stopped latching whenever we had gotten home.. so we switched her to formula Wich made me upset cuz she's our first child and I felt like a bad mom cuz she wouldn't latch but I was so exhausted I was too tied to pump plus she was eating allot more whenever we gotten home so.. Plus I think she had gotten nipple confused

Fed is best. You got to do what’s best for you too momma.

I had dysmorphic milk ejection reflex that caused me severe problems. Coupled with PPD it was hell. Decide what is best for you because a happy mom is better for everyone and fed is best. I stopped breastfeeding and my suicidal thoughts went away and my emotional state improved drastically

Nope, not selfish! Whatever is best for you and your family is best for baby.

6 weeks of bm is better than none at all.
