Any of you moms been able to breastfeed throughout your entire pregnancy? My goal is 3 yrs & as of now we're 1 month shy of 2 years. It's more painful than I anticipated that's for sure but I can't successfully pump anything more than half an oz each breast 👎🏼
I just weaned my son but my supply hadn't lessened throughout my pregnancy
You will probably go back to just producing colostrum during your pregnancy. Baby may or may not want to continue nursing at that point. My son continued through my second pregnancy and I tandem nursed them for a year.
I can’t see your reply only in notifications but no I haven’t continued breastfeeding my son seemed to kinda just forget about it
I was breastfeeding my son up until 21 months I was planning on going past 2 years but then I wasn’t producing any more milk so I just stopped , I’m currently producing milk again which I didn’t think I would be until I gave birth
Oh wow so there was like a 6wk dry spell.. have you started breastfeeding again since the milk has come back or have you decided to hold off til new baby comes? Thank you for your input btw 💕
Aww congrats! Thinking back to when I started I think I was producing 2oz per breast but that quickly jumped to 4-8oz per breast, had I continued pumping while nursing maybe I wouldn't be having this problem now with not being able to pump much 🤔
I nursed throughout. Not sure how much she got at the end, but it was comforting. Now I let her nurse 1-2 times a days- she loves that my milk came in for little brother and would probably nurse a lot more if I let her. There were times, especially at the beginning of my pregnancy that were a lot more painful than others at the end I had to limit the time for that same reason. Make sure introduce regular milk to your little one so he is getting enough. My daughter increased her milk intake during this time.
