I took my daughter when she had 103. & all they did was give her Motrin & Tylenol & sent us Home😡 They did nothing else! Try taking a warm bath & Give Tylenol & Motrin together the every 8hours it helps.

Light clothing and skin to skin. I wouldn’t give any meds unless specifically directed to by your doctor.

The er is the worst place for baby to be right now , give baby a bath, do skin to skin , let him be in just a diaper .

99 is fine. My baby was like that at her pedi and she said it’s fine. Baby’s run a higher temp

@gypsymomma, you gave Tylenol for a 99 degree temperature? Was that advised by a medical professional?

ER is FULL of germs, that should be a last resort. 99 is an okay temp. If it does become a fever, let baby hang out in diaper for awhile and give a lukewarm bath. But that’s only after temp is closer to 100.4. Also definitely call the on call pedi before bringing to ER.

@mommytok, @kbbaybee16, @mommy.2girls, @mumma_of2, we are down to a onesie and I have been given the proper dose for Tylenol so he got that as well. And I have called the on call doc to see what we need to do.

You can call the on call nurse. Strip her down to a diaper and feed her and see if it helps.
