Over the past 18 months, I’ve given eviction papers to 130lbs and I don’t want it back. I’ve become a pescatarian, started working out hard and these are my results. I went from a size 22 to a size 8, my diabetes symptoms are in complete remission and I’m healthier than I’ve been in a good 10 years. It was a long hard and tough road to get here, starting with almost dying and losing part of my breast to get here, but I made it. Working out is now a very key part of my life. It’s my alone time, my time to take frustration and turn it into something positive and my time to listen to music with curse words. It’s only 6 hours a week but it’s mine to do what I need to do for me to be the wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend that my tribe needs. The sore body, late nights at the gym just to fit it in, the squats in the back yard, all worth it....
Now I just need a beast mode workout buddy...

@asehlabo, ahhh man, you have no idea! It’s been tough because most of my core group of friends are all plus size beauties and it’s as if I lost my membership to the club or something. It’s sad because my spirit didn’t change, just my habits. Those who know me know I did this for my health, not my curves because I miss my G cups!! First and foremost I had to get off the diabetic needle. But despite that, my energy is positive and amazing.

I still have a tummy, extra skin and all that, but I’m so happy. No needles, checking my blood sugar 4-6 times a day, no highs or lows. That’s worth more than my vanity, plus they have spanx! Keep those work outs going and you’ll get where you want to be
