Ok so the kiddo has his 4 year check up tomorrow... will he be getting any shots?? He’s always been up to date with them but will he need boosters tomorrow?? I always feel so bad when he gets his shots 😩😩

@melissaredfield87, I’m actually hoping they are offering it, some pediatricians in my area aren’t giving them until October 1st. So I’m hoping his offers it to get it over with
@mommakuala, true! Try and give him some Tylenol about 30 mins before his appointment that’s what I do and it helps some for the pain
It’s also flu season so they might give him the flu shot too!
@mommy_x3, it’s like, at the same time, I don’t want to tell my son to stop being that way cause technically the pediatrician is a stranger to him, so I want him to continue to not let strangers touch him, but at the same time, it’s like I want the dr to do his job too lol but thank you, hopefully tomorrow won’t be too bad for him 🤞🏼
@mommakuala, aww lol kids are so funny! My kids don’t like the doctors touching them either it’s always a fight when we go
@mommy_x3, normally, my son won’t even let the pediatrician touch him, but this is a brand new one so hopefully he’ll warm up to the doc. But the last time he got shots, he cried but once it was just my son and I in the room, he was done crying. But he swore he couldn’t move his arm for like 3 days 😂🤷🏻♀️
@mommakuala, hopefully it won’t be too many!! And hopefully he does good with them, I know Mauriz is terrified of needles so he freaked out when he saw the shots but only cried for a couple seconds afterwards..
@mommy_x3, hopefully that’s all he needs, but I know his previous pediatrician would always wait last minute to give him his shots and stuff so idk if it’ll only be a couple of more😞

Here it's the age of 4. So I would say I'm guessing so. Poor guy, hope he does great!
Flu shot is necessary??
I took my son to his new pediatrician yesterday. I loved her! Except for one thing. She said to go back in 4 months so my son gets his flu shot. I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really? He got the tdap and I'm getting the tdap in two weeks but is the flu shot really necessary? I've always been against getting it. What are your thoughts?
My baby boy has me so worried he has such delicate skin. Calling the doctor tomorrow to take him in & get checked out. No matter what lotion I use on his skin he gets like this. Breaks my heart

Please tell me how your children reacted to the vaccines? I'm so scared of him getting a fever, he hasn't been sick yet and the thought tears me up.
Soooooo jeb has been i guess clingy. For the last 3-4 days he has always tried to crawl to me or crawl out his room to me. Or he is in his walker and rolls over to me.
He is now in his room crying at the door because he cant get out to get to me.
He will be 1yr in a few weeks. Is this a leap thing or what???

My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
