I think I might lose my mind today. I have had my baby four times in the last hour and a half. I have gotten about 2 1/2…

@momtothe3rdpower Ooh okay thank you. I appreciate your comment i was just telling her what my lil cousin is going through thats all & how i'm still trying to make a decision on if my son should be circumsized or not.

@claudie_02, @gypsymomma, circumcised men absolutely can get urinary tract infections and bladder infections. The rates of uti in circumcised men and intact men are less than half of a percent difference.

@claudie_02, that’s so sad that he keeps getting infections. They could be bladder infections though which would have nothing to do with the circumcision. And I wish you the best of luck with everything. Hopefully your husband will back you on your decision as well.

@gypsymomma not sure the name of the infection... but all i know he goes in to ER for infection all the time & always having hard time when peeing 😓 & Is been 5years ago cause he is already 5Years old. & i feel soo bad bc they always in the ER because of that! I want my son to get it done he is about to be 4years old but his dad does not want him to😩 so its hard to make a desicion.

@claudie_02 its so much worse they are older... It actually does hurt when they are older. As babies they don't even remember if it happens to at all and they don't remember the discomfort... They get it done older they remember it all

@claudie_02, I never had any infections with my oldest kid. It’s a matter of keeping it clean and following up with the doctors as well. And the first 2 weeks is very important for the healing process. Glad you are doing this for your beliefs and not doing it just because everyone else does. How long ago did your aunts kid have it done? And what kind of infections is he getting if you don’t mind me asking.

@gypsymomma I bet it is a hard decision when us mommas are expecting a baby boy! I won't do it cause we don't believe in doing circumcisions my Fiance is not also & don't want our son to have it also as of right now we haven't had any issues at all..,cause also the skin is good for them cause it protects them from getting infections! I wanted to soo bad😩 but then one of my Aunts Kid got it done & was always getting infections and up until now he still does & Regrets it so i'm kinda like Don't Know What To Do😓

When I want my baby to go to sleep, because sometimes she cries when shes put in the crib too, I breastfeed her laying down on my side so that way once she falls asleep I can get up without having to move her because shes already laying down. Maybe it will help. It will get easier as time passes by. You're strong, you got this!

@claudie_02, it’s easier to do it when they are younger. They don’t remember much if anything at all. It’s a little harder when they are older. I thought long and hard about this decision to do this. It wasn’t an easy one either.

@ladyblauvelt Awee! Thats a good thing that it does not hurt them 🙂 i am not sure how they do it sense my son will not be getting circumsized but is a good thing to know incase he wants to do it later on when he gets older.

@ladyblauvelt, True I don’t remember my son crying that long. And I think it was just from the numbing agent

@claudie_02, He doesn’t like to be swaddled. And I just don’t remember my oldest who is now 12 acting like this before his circumcision. And as for baby wearing it was 4 o’clock in the morning when I wrote that. I didn’t want him to sleep with me but that’s what we ended up doing

@claudie_02 it really doesn't hurt them much at all, most surgeons use a local numbing agent so they don't feel a thing. It will be uncomfortable for a little while but neither of my boys cried

This time passes quickly mama. Babywearing makes life much easier.

Hope everything goes we'll hun.. My son is 4years and not circumsized but i bet it hurts them 😓 hope he can sleep better after it so you can get some sleep.

Awee poor baby! 😔 Do you swaddle him? Maybe that can help him sleep better for a bit.
