Does anybody else get really tired breastfeeding? I mean even if I sit up I have to keep myself from falling asleep

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

yes. It is hormones! As if breastfeeding wasnt hard enough. I cant remember but I think it is prolactin or something. It gets easier, or at least it did for me.

Yesssss! It was awful, and the worst after our bedtime nurse. For the longest time I couldn’t stay up at night, I would get done nursing, sit down to watch tv with my husband and be asleep within minutes.

For one just having a baby is very tiring. The first couple weeks I would just pass out and it scared me. I would ask but husband to keep a eye on us because he was usually playing games in our room while I nursed. But it also triggers a hormone to sleep so add that on top of being exhausted.

@natcasey9, I’d have to have the tv on or read on my phone. Or my husband would stay in the room with me and make sure everything was good. I definitely nodded off a handful of times. It does get better the more you get used to it, but those first few weeks/months were rough.
