Ladies till when did you son/daughter stop peeing on the bed i mean I am baffled right now and have no idea how to go…

My son is almost 9 and he still has accidents at night. Eventually they grow out of it, I know how stressful it is❤

Don't feel bad. It's very frustrating for everyone. I think she's probably having trouble being able to tell she has to go. When you wake up to go to the bathroom you should wake her up too. Hopefully it will become a habit and she'll start to wake up on her own.

She said she can’t get up idk and I’m pregnant right now and idk if that’s what’s triggering making me feel worse about it.

@nachely12 it's okay!! I don't think pull ups are a good idea for the nine year old. Ask her if she knows she had to pew when she's asleep or if her body just goes? Pull ups for the 5 yr old, maybe but, I think it can be counterproductive because it can become a crutch.

@mhbb3, I’m more of an ok let me talk this out in my head and let me see how Togo about this with 5 year old I just try to encourage him in ways we won’t wet the bed I call him big boy and big boys don’t do that. 9 year old I think it’s what I’m having a hard time with but all I tell her is that she is getting older and we do make mistakes but it can’t b an everyday thing idk love I’m trying. That’s why I’m a little postponed about buying them pull-ups because I don’t want to feel like I’m belittling them

What made it worse for me was how my mother treated me. She was very abusive until she found put about sexual abuse that has been going on for years. I don't think that's the reason I was wetting the bed but when it stopped and she kinda stopped treating me so awful it got better.

Just try not to make them feel ashamed. 💕

I wet the bed for a long time as a child. It was terrible. My parents would always say something was wrong with me, take me to see etc etc, but the truth was I am a DEEP sleeper and as a child my body would not wake me up when I needed to pee. I grew our of it eventually but it was terrible.

That’s what we’ve done for Mason! He just wears pull ups every night. It’s the nights he rips them off that we have issues lol

@momstatusloading, my stepson is 5 and is still peeing the bed I get up numerous times at night to take him to pee and guess what in the morning there is still piss there and my 9 year old stepdaughter just peed on the bed this morning at this point I know they r kids but I’m doing what I can I stop giving them drinks after a certain time, I know they r not afraid of the dark so I know their more then capable of getting up. I’m at the point. Where I can’t wash my sheets daily and I’m about to start going to buy pull-ups for the both of them 😓

My step son is 4 & although he’s potty trained he’ll have night terrors & pee his bed. 😔
