I never understood pain from BF..... Until now! Pregnant and BF toddlers hurts like a mother trucker!! One side hurts…

@yvelid, Right. I struggle to bf 1 baby for barley over a year. I’m so impressed and intrigued.

I breastfed DD until a little after she turned two, and I was about 5 months pregnant. There were more challenging times in that five months than there were in her whole life leading up to that 😂.

Ultimately we weaned because it no longer put her to sleep (aka - my secret weapon), and my milk was switching back over/drying up for the new babe. It's been nice having my boobs back to myself for a bit and DD sleeps better now. I also don't have as many issues with tenderness, but that could also just be the stage of pregnancy I'm at or a combination of the two.

@yvelid I breastfed exclusively for the first year, including pumping. 2 of them ended up latching. On the how, I'm not sure the NICU was very encouraging and informative and I just stuck with it.

I have no advice, but you are awesome!

@bigmama18 2 still BF, the 3rd fell in love with the bottle so she would get pumped milk. I don't feel incredible, I feel lucky to have been able to do it and still do it.

@scidg3, you should feel like a super hero. That is so awesome!

@haslberry since pregnant I've tried cutting down. They do it cause they are bored! Haha they don't really do it to sleep anymore now either..... Congrats on your little!

@scidg3, I had to cut down. I was literally in tears and climbing the couch when she'd latch. Sometimes I'd let out a yelp. I don't know how I'd manage with three (or two)... you're a hero! Congrats on your little one too! To keep your spirits up, I've read that breastfeeding can reduce morning sickness, so yay!

I'm there too but only one toddler. It hurts when she latches everytime. She cried one night because I yelped in pain. I felt so bad. She still BF to sleep but has cut down since she knows it hurts mommy.

Awe@batmom16 do you still have milk? I heard it slows down 2nd trimester... Right now they drink about 5 mins and tell me it's gone but they want to stay on 😄

I am not having pain BFing but I find my tolerance level for how long I will let my toddler nurse is much lower. I am hoping that my supply changes and he will naturally wean. 😂

@gecko_mom that's how I was in the beginning but now it's moved to that and sensitivity, not sensitive all the time but as soon as one tells me it's gone I'm like okay next activity but they still want to nurse 😆

@scidg3, I feel you. My son will nurse for hours if I let him! Even though I k ow that it is mostly just comfort nursing. 😭 Some day’s are so bad. I can’t imagine having two boobie leeches like you though. 🤣 I don’t see how I would get anything done.
