@Veronica I did. They gave me antibiotics and pain killers. They told me if it gets worse to come back in and to keep my ob appt. I'm picking up my prescription now. I got really sick this morning. Bad headache and throwing up. IDK if it's related or not I don't feel to bad now.

Interesting fact, I just learned from the pediatrician today that even toddlers can get mastitis. I had no idea and thought it was only while nursing. Anyways hope you start feeling better soon.

I'd go to urgent care. It could be a cyst and those are the WORST! the sooner they treat it the better if not it could get infected. I hope it's nothing but better safe than sorry! My mom was in the hospital for 2 WEEKS on IV antibiotics because she left the cyst for a week hoping it on would go down and it got into her blood and gave her septis ?

It is ER worthy. It can easily go septic and that's a really bad thing.

You can see a primary doc for this. Go to the urgent care if you don't want to be seen in the ER.

It still the same pain but its pretty swollen. It literally looks like I have two nipples.

Is the pain and tenderness the same or worse? If so, yes it is absolutely er worthy, you could develop an abscess and potentially sepsis. Go get seen.

I had to reschedule. He got called away for a delivery and my dh had to work... Is this er worthy? I haven't gone bc I don't think it is.

It's possible at any time. Mastitis is mostly an infection in the breast. More likely when breastfeeding. But not exclusive to then. Go see doc asap

It sounds like it could be. I would get into the doctor. It's definitely some type of infection and you'll want antibiotics to treat it.

I haven't pumped or breastfed in 5 months. I tried a wet washcloth but it hurt so much. I cried while it was on it. It just started hurting and getting swollen last night.

Could be mastitis, have u tried a hot shower and then pumping? Unfortunately you are gonna have to unclog that duct. Gonna hurt like a b**** but u will feel so much better after
