Since asking any of my friends on FB would just start a war, thoughts on circumcising. Thoughts and opinions???
@nurseflowforlife that's great that he loves it I have nothing against uncircumcised penises but both of my older son's are Circumcised so I'll be getting this one done as well it's free at the Hospital I don't have to come out of pocket this time I'm from California they charge for circumcision out but not in Tx I'm currently living in the state of Houston all the boy's in my family are circumcised but like I said uncircumcised is not bad just my choice to get my son's done
@jennatess, that's so sad, men are willing to cut up their genitals just because people in America are nothing but a bunch of fucking bullies. My husband said he was never picked on for his normal penis. But if he was he would've punch those motherfuckers in the face. I'm so glad my husband is not circumcised. I feel bad for boys who actually think there's something wrong with the way they are born. We need to stop body shaming and then more men can feel comfortable in their normal body
@ladyygee, that's crazy, my husband loves his normal penis.
As a nurse I would not suggest it, it's very painful and just not necessary. My husband nor my son is cut. My husband tells me all the time he would be pissed off if his mother remove the best part of his penis LOL I also know tons of men who had their cut.
Well, I’ll just say, my fiancé does not like the fact his mom circumcised him... he only has sensation in 20% of his penile skin due to his circumcision. Removing nerves and skin that was put there for a reason isn’t helpful, in my opinion. Women might say they’ve never heard a man be upset about being circumcised... look up #mendocomplain on Facebook or google. There’s thousands. Circumcision can and does cause lasting issues.
ссылка ... super long, but so worth the read... =)
@tavi.young that's great that you do your research and if you feel anyone thinks your bashing which I'm sure no one is saying you are we all have our own minds so feel free to speak your mind I just feel all the boy's in my family are circumcised so I just feel I'll stick to what I kno and keep it at that there is no hard feeling we are all grown and I feel it's good for ppl to do there own research concerning there options opinions thank you for the info 😊😁
Feel free to look at the traditional Jewish circumcision ceremony that includes Brit milah or metzitzah b'peh. This consists of a rabbi preforming a circumcision and proceeding to suck the blood from the baby's penis. It is often not used nowadays but I think it goes to show how strange the practice's origins are. For anyone who says I'm bashing, I'm not. Your decision, but I think every mom should have the right to know all of the available information before making a decision. That it is cultural in origin, through many cultures not just the Jewish one.
At the end of the day ladies it's your choice I have nothing against uncircumcised penises but I'm sticking to circumcision my choice I'm part Jewish so that has a lil bit to do with it I'm proud of my choice and my decision 👌👍😁
Also, just saying I have met men who wish they weren't circumcised. The girls in countries where female circumcision or mutilation is encouraged are told their natural anatomical parts are ugly and that uncircumcised girls are "dirty" as well. In most other developed parts of the world, circumcision is NOT the norm. Women in those countries think circumcised penises are weird and ugly looking. It is purely cultural.
Nope, sometimes when they say they use foreskins for "medical research" that can mean they sell them to cosmetic companies. In some parts of Africa and other countries cutting off the anatomical equivalent on a female (clitoral hood) is considered female genital MUTILATION but is often referred to as female circumcision. If I wouldn't do that to my baby girl, why would I do it to my baby boy? One of the only studies done on male pleasure found that the majority of sensitivity in the male phallus is located in the foreskin. So much misinformation out there. The myth that circumcision is cleaner is not true if you regularly wash them and leave the foreskin alone. It developed there for a reason. One of the main advocates for male circumcision was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (yes like the cereal which he developed to help curb sexual appetite) He was obsessed with sex and repressing it and recommended circumcision to keep boys from masturbating. (because they lose most of their sensitivity) I think it is also worth noting that he recommended pouring acid on a girl's clitoris to avoid masturbation. If you want to know more, I have plenty of info. I'm a nursing student, and am still learning but would be happy to tell you what I know. Feel free to private message me!
Also my husband is not and he has never had issues so I didn't see the need to put my baby thru that pain. Drs didn't seem concerned about us not circumsizing either.
We didn't. No good reason to. The Bump had a good article about how unnecessary it is these days
@jennatess I so agree with you a lot of men get circumcised at an old age wishing there mother would have done it when they was a baby
@x_graveyard_baby_x I'm all for circumcision both my older 2boys are circumcised I will be getting my son circumcised as well at the Hospital Due to me being from California I had to pay for Both my older son's circumcision and it wasn't cheap but now I'm in Houston Tx they do it free at the Hospital after birth or a day after he's Born I'm very Happy I don't gotta come out of pocket this time lol but if I did I would do it all again it's worth it to me tbh the reason for circumcision is more so what if the baby becomes infected in his Genitals it's some times harder to clean it's more healthier to me so I feel if any mother wants there son circumcised I would recommend them do it the baby will never remember the pain and they will thank you In the long run😄😁😊 good luck ladies on your pregnancy Journeys
^ This. I’ve met more than one man who wished his parents would have but never met one who wished they didn’t. If the only positive outcome is my son’s self esteem later in life that’s good enough for me.
If this one is a boy, I will most definitely circumcise. I’ve never met a man who wished that he hadn’t been circumcised, but I have met men who often got picked on and joked about because they were weren’t circumcised. A guy I work with just had it done himself at 24 and he was super vocal about how pissed he was at his parents for not doing it when he was a baby and when recovery was significantly easier.
I figure, kids in general are bad with hygiene. Let alone all the extra care you have to practice when you’re not circumcised. I don’t want to have to tell my son a million times to clean correctly.
Figured I'd reach out to mom's here rather than ask my close mom friends and create a war zone.
I have 2 boys and one coming i dont have either circumcised. My first wasnt by choice he was preemie but changing my son compared to a kid that is really is no different jist ur choice really
Oh lordt.

Thoughts? This is coming from someone who doesn't have kids.
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
