Baby decided she was ready, so she came totally unexpectedly, and exactly one week before our scheduled cesarean.. born this morning at 2:07, at 38 weeks exactly, Miss Nova Salem Helena Marie, weighing 6lbs 9 oz, and 19 in. Long, she is doing so well....great breathing, temperature regulation, and excellent latching! So. In. Love. And so, so thankful <3

The vivid dreams, nightmares, and insomnia are real. I am ridiculously exhausted. I hate waking up like this.

Hey ladies, I have a question... this isn't my first pregnancy but I'm experiencing something I don't remember ever having felt with the others... this baby is SO freaking low...so, I've been dealing with pretty severe pubic bone pain for awhile now, and all that comes with that... pain putting pants on, turning over in bed, getting in and out of the bath etc... But I'm also feeling like I can't sit up properly like trying to do so is forcing her body to bend where it doesn't want to? I'm having...

So... we had our fetal echocardiogram today to make sure baby doesn't have Congenital heart defects like my youngest son, her heart looks perfect! ... I cannot convey how relieved I am to knpw this. Then, on top of our good news, they showed me her little face in 4d and all I could do was cry, She's perfect, and I am so very blessed.

Blankets I made/ am making for baby girl... it's my first quilt so it isn't perfect but I just love the colors and patterns :)

I know this sounds super petty BUT, I saw a poll today on another app I have and the girl posting is wanting to use the same first name that I picked out and was looking for advice on a middle name ( I haven't said anything or posted) but it was kind of discouraging... I don't know her and it is doubtful I ever will, but it is the first time I've had any doubt about her name... is that silly?
