i am 34 weeks and have been having this extreme pressure and pain in my pelvic area since I was 30 weeks. (It feels like someone hit me and left the biggest bruise) It hasn't gone away, but some days are worse than others. It hurts when I sleep, walk or sit, nothing seems to ease my pain and pressure it's been 2 days that every move a make makes me want to cry😢😭😢😭 it's so painful. I've seen it's normal but it's been so extreme that even when I'm laying down doing nothing it hurts....any advice on what could help me with the pain or what should I do?
I told my midwive like 3 weeks ago and she said it was normal😞
@paulina1323 my second pregnacy had every single bad side effect. I was on progesterone first 12 weeks because my progesterone was low. I was spotting and almost miscarried twice. That crap made my hair fall out, made me nauseated and gave me migraines. That pill made my morning sickness severe. I had no appetite, vomited bile and lost 15 pounds. Only ate cereal which i managed to keep down and some boosts. Second trimester the morning sickness persisted, i couldn't sit in a car unless I drove. Hubby had to pull off twice for me to be sick on side of road. I was on zofran, gas x and ranitidine daily. The trapped gas I had felt like my insides would explode, and the constipation was unbearable even with miralax.Migraines made me weak and I would be sensitive to light. The baby was low all 9 months so my pelvis ached, my lower back throbbed constantly. Ive passed out, i got dizzy going down the stairs and twisted my ankle. And to top it all off I got preeclampsia at 38 weeks. So for me adjusting to not being pregnant was absolutely amazing. I loved my csection and the minute cassie was in my arms everything else faded away. This time healing ive bled longer, still am off and on. My incision hurt more but i think its because she used dissolvable stitches vs dissolvable staples like I had the first time. Ive been going on trail walks, going up inclines for short periods of time and pretty much staying active just fine. I started taking baths to ease my back pain and it helps but not for long. This spinal really left some leftover discomfort im still healing from. My lower back really aches. But I lost all my baby weight by 16 days pp. My tummy is flat again, i fit into pre pregnancy clothes and If you saw me out without Cassie youd never know I had another baby. Overall not being pregnant already makes me feel normal 😂
You have to tough it out sorry to say from 27 weeks until 41 weeks I slept in a upright sitting position because of the pelvic pain it was horrific and that position hurt less
@cartergirl08 my goal was to start working out after baby comes but I guess my body wants to Start working out now lol
@katwillbrand I'm currently laying down, earlier I tried walking and I started crying because it's so painful ..my husband wanted to take me to hospital but I told him that it was normal ....at least you're closer than me ...when are you due?
@paulina1323 yes! We are so close! My goal is to continue working out after baby comes and I'm all healed up. I don't want to end up in pain later in life and I need to lose all this weight I've gained!
@cartergirl08 lol I need to start working out probably that's what my body needs !...good thing we're almost there!
It’s normal, I don’t know if there’s anything u can do about it. I’m about to be 38 weeks and it just keeps getting worst! I’m about to get to a point where I can’t even walk 😩
@paulina1323 yes I do, but only when I move certain ways (rolling over in bed) or if I sit/stand for too long! It's definitely not nearly as bad as it was before I started exercising. I've never been a work out kind of girl, I'm lazy! Lol. But once I discovered that it helps my pain I've been getting to that elliptical as much as I can!
@vvrobinson after pregnancy how long did it take to feel normal again? Pregnancy it's not that easy
I've had similar pain since I was like 20 weeks (I'm 33 now). I have found that an ice pack helps when it gets bad but I also discovered that 15-20 minutes on the elliptical helps me tremendously. I know that won't be the same for everyone. It is the only exercise machine I can use that doesn't hurt!! It also stretched those ligaments near the pelvis. It might be worth a try!
@vvrobinson No I haven't, but I'll definitely try everything today ...Thank you!
@paulina1323, oh yeah I’m glad it’s almost over it has been horrible. I’m due the 6th of August. I was checked yesterday but haven’t progressed none lol
