Ok if your a new mom here’s how retail works don’t buy your kids back to school clothes in aug buy them in July. In aug they jack up the price and then use discount sale tactic to get you to buy more for more money. The end of July they are getting rid of summer stuff to make way for school stuff. Take OshKosh for instance come aug those jeans go up to 12 dollar right now they are under ten. All the graphic tee are now like 3-5 dollars in clearance. Shoe carnival has friends and family sale this month too.

Awesome advice! The exception, would be uniforms though. In my area 90% of elementary and middle schools wear uniforms and the closer it gets to school starting, the cheaper they get. I think it’s because they don’t really sell too much during the school year. They seriously fill out huge areas of the stores with uniforms and then during the school year it’s reduced to just a few racks.

@amysbabies, yeah where I live they wear regular clothes. But as for the uniforms those you buy in mid sept to oct when they are on clearance

I’ve always bought my sons clothes on sale just the size up for the next season. The only problem I buy too much.
