For Christmas I want to do the DNA kits that show you what makes you all up. So I can better educate my children and myself. I'm so curious what makes up the majority of me and the minority and how does this compare to what my family has shared with me.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Racial nickname I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?

I've been seeing so many negative posts/comments (not on this app as much but on a lot of others) and I just felt the need to put something positive out there. I'm a graphic designer and some of you may have seen this graphic before that I made with my baby girls first and middle name. I got a decent amount of good feedback from it so I figured I'd share my talent and make some for you guys! So if you'd like me to make one for you just comment with your baby's first and middle name and gender and I'll make one for you too! (and bare with me, I have a meeting around noon so I won't be on the app during that time so it may take a little longer) but I'll try and get them all made today and I'll post them in the comments and tag you once I'm finished. ♡

Just be careful with those, those companies are not regulated like the medical industry, they don't have to follow HIPAA and can store and sell any data you get from your test including your kids!

@nervousmommyca only me is being tested. I'd probably do 23 and me. Idk what they could get from that aside from I have a sad life lol?

@wolfnurturer no need to panic. 23 and me can't do anything without your consent...which it asks you before you provide the sample to them! My husband and I both did 23 and me and put it in our son's baby book. These days no one is 100% anything so it is neat to see the mix. I am predominately Irish and he is 70% split between German and Polish. I definitely recommend doing them. I was a foster kid so I didn't really know mine until the test. Super awesome!

@heilwife317 No panic, just curiosity. I mean it's not hard to get information about anyone these days with the hackers who just won't do the right thing and hack at min 20k per child into our bank accounts untraceable and untouchable to anyone but us lol. Oh cool, it's nice knowing your background though especially given that circumstance. My kids are super mixed, I'm super multiracial, and SO is fairly mixed as well. A lot of the time mixed though isn't a check box option and that's where it gets tricky to me because who wants to claim one thing when that's not really all of you. You know?

@wolfnurturer you are allowed to check more than 1 box. And actually legally if you are 11% or more you are allowed to claim that specific background. :)

@heilwife317 actually some places do not accept that, they say to pick one. Very few places I see have the open option of that.

@wolfnurturer well that is sad. Everything I have done and especially the field I work in we allow however many check boxes apply.
