What was the earliest you had sex after having a baby?

I know we’re suppose to wait 6 weeks but I did 1 week pp 🤷🏾‍♀️ i stopped bleeding at 3 days pp

Once I was cleared at 6 week checkup each time.

Once I was cleared. The thought of infection, scaring, infertility and worse from the gaping wound in my uterus where the placenta detached wasn’t really a turn on.

5 weeks

First time was 4 weeks because I wasn’t informed by the reasoning to wait until cleared. Thankfully no infections. The second time I was more educated and wait until I was cleared.

First baby 8 weeks

Second baby 3 weeks

Four weeks but I wish I would have waited until the six week mark because I had a small tear and it actually hurt to have sex so we had to stop. I had stopped bleeding but for sure what @laniejay said. On another note, C section moms sometimes think they're okay to have sex because they didn't deliver vaginally but often they have the wound inside as well (if I'm remembering that info correctly.)

@leroydoom, yup, you are correct. It isn’t just the vagina that needs to heal. Everyone has a placenta and everyone’s detaches. And the fact that the bleeding stopped simply means it has clotted, not necessarily healed.

4 weeks i wish would have waited through because the pain was unbearable and I ended up tearing more

I didn’t until my son was 3 1/2 months old, and it still hurt. I did have some stitches but they weren’t too bad.
