Moving ?

You guys! I’m being such a baby. There’s a very good chance that my husband is getting to move up at work, and I’m so happy for him, but it means we’ll have to move to another state. We have two little boys, and I get overwhelmed and lonely as a SAHM. I’m not complaining because this is what I’ve always wanted, and I know I would have a harder time working. It’s just that I’m finally getting my footing after having our second in July. PPD hits me hard, so it’s nice to feel normal again...

Baby Doesn't like Babywearing... help!

My baby seems to seriously hate being in the wrap... he is two months. I've done both the newborn hold (legs in) and I think it's called the hug hold (with his legs out). I'm also worried he might be too little for legs out, but he's not a tiny baby by any means. His biggest problem is that he starts flailing and he head butts me HARD. If I forget that I have a necklace on, that makes it just that much more painful for him. ?

I'm a Bottomless Pit!

Are any other breastfeeding mommas feeling like a bottomless pit? I honestly cannot get full no matter how much I eat. I barely even get satisfied. I ate a big dinner and got seconds last night, and I swear I could have eaten another plate full after that. Being hungry all the time is definitely not helping with my weight loss. I know my body is feeding another person, but, golly, I could eat all day long if I let myself.

Surprise Baby!

My parents' neighbors were expecting their surprise baby in July, her due date was the 8th. They thought they were done having kids. They were having a girl. Not only did that baby wait until July 20th to be born, but the little girl they were expecting turned out to be a boy! They're doing well, although shocked!

Induction

UPDATE: Ladies! I got my natural labor and delivery this morning! Our son woke up around 2:30 am, and when my husband brought him to our room I woke up to help settle him and realized I was having contractions 4-5 minutes apart. Got to the hospital and I was measuring 5 cm, they broke my water at 6 cm, and I had him exactly 50 minutes later. He came so quickly that the on-call doctor didn't get back in time. They asked me not to push for the longest time; it was so difficult and even...

Nesting so hard...

I've been nesting like a nutcase, and now it's rubbing off on my toddler. ? He asked for a washcloth so he could clean his slide, he took our breakfast dishes to the kitchen before I could by his own choice this morning, he gladly joins in when it's time to pick up, he'll put toys away on the shelf in his closet without being asked, and he spent most of yesterday sweeping with the swiffer just for fun. He's not even two, and he's the best little helper right now! ?

38 week appointment

I'm headed to my 38 wk appointment this morning. I'm officially one day further along than my last pregnancy. I had my son the day I was supposed to go to my 38 week appointment in 2015. So everything from this point on is new for me. Hopefully I don't drive myself crazy anytime soon looking for signs of labor. I promised myself to stay calm at least until I'm overdue.
