Who has had there wisdom teeth removed? If so how was the pain afterwards and how long was recovery for you? And what type of foods or drinks did you had while recovering? I’m going in for surgery tomorrow so I’m pretty nervous and scared so trying to prepare myself for the worse pain.
@west87coast, well I’m getting 4 removed and one isn’t out so that’s the one they gonna cut open I believe and the other 3 are like either out or half way In I can’t tell it’s way in the back but I can feel there sharp. I’m hoping I can go back to doing everything normal in a day at least
@mnturdburgler, yeah I keep getting different stories. It’s worse if they gotta open the gum and it’s less pain with the ones that are already out
@mary925, you’ll be fine I drove myself home afterwards I had two removed it took them 3 minutes to remove them I was awake I felt pressure but no pain and after ward I would say a day of discomfort but not really pain more of a soreness you should be fine I took care of my kids right after so if I can do it you can do. Don’t stress too much on it I stressed so much I made myself sick
@mary925 I had two removed. One was half way out, the other was still under the gum. The one that was under the surface hurt more but still not terrible.
Honestly you probably won't have actual pain just soreness in the jaw I could of went back the next day to work easily 😂 but nothing wrong with a week enjoy it :)
@mnturdburgler, I’m hoping not a too painful recovery and hoping a fast one too. I only request 6 days off.
@wafflespancakes, how many did they removed ? And where they half way out or no?
You will be fine I freaked at first but only pain on my impacted one for the first few hours but it wasn't bad at all
@mnturdburgler, oh goodness that sounds painful, your a champ for dealing with that
Mine were impacted and growing in wards pushing all my teeth together. Anesthesia is hard on me so I slept for the first two days. After that I was able to eat mashed potatoes and refried beans. The swelling never went down and I got dry socket (I think it was because I slept with my mouth open). It took almost a month to fully heal and I had to go get clove packs put in to help with the pain after my Rx ran out.
@mnturdburgler, I can feel 3 of them like half way out and the last one hasn’t broken through.
I just had to have all me teeth out a few weeks ago including all my wisdom so 30 teeth at once😑 I had one horizontal wisdom that was in my jaw line not surficed and it hurt but with all my teeth I only took one pain pill after the procedure it was not bad at all.
It wasn't that bad. the only thing that really hurt was trying to eat a few days after. I had mine removed on a Tuesday and on a Thursday my husband had back surgery
What kind of wisdom teeth are they surfaced or impacted.
I didn't think it was that bad. I didn't take any of the pain meds, just ibuprofen.
I had ice cream and had my husband run out for KFC sides - mashed potatoes and mac and cheese.
I’m scheduled for a c section Thursday and I’m a bit nervous.
Have any of you had a c section? If so what was your experience?
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Experienced moms..Did you all tear during delivery with your first? I’m expecting with my first and I keep watching YouTube videos on how to avoid tearing LOL I’m so fearful. Can it really be avoided ? 🤭if so how ...
Attention mamas who have had their gallbladder removed!!
How did you get your shoulder pain to go away?? I’m in so much pain! 😫🤕
I had all four at the same time removed, piece of cake.
No pain afterwards either. I work in construction and I went right to work after the appt.
People have told me they get Vicodin for it afterwards, I have no clue why 🤷🏼♀️ still ate normal as well, just not in the far back of course. You’ll be alright promise.
