So frustrated my husband told me to go get the mail I opened it he spent over 50 bucks on a stupid card game but won't buy my bread sticks from pizza up or mazzarla sticks from sonic bc they r to much money but yet he can spend that much on him self
I am a stay at home mom I use my money I get for birthday Christmas to get myself bras make up thongs bc he won't buy it

Hi just cause you’re a stay at home mom doesn’t mean you can’t get want you want or need. Your husband should appreciate you enough to give you money for a freaking pizza at least.
@katelynn how much food is beyond the point. You should definitely think about what role you play in the relationship. B/c if you have to ask for money for food then something is definitely not right. Y'all are a couple and things should be equal all around.

That is so wrong in so many levels. Y'all are a team and as such you have rights to buy stuff you want or need.
It would make me mad, too. I'm a SAHM and sometimes I'll ask "can I buy this?" but usually it's "Oh, look what I got!" The money he makes is OUR money. Yeah, I could go back to work to make my "own money", but it would all go to daycare so what's the point? I found an article a while back that listed what it would cost to hire someone to do all the work that SAHMs do, and it was such a ridiculous number. So yeah, we may not work for pay, but we do work.
