I had my 1 hr glucose test and was about 30 points higher than the cutoff number. With my daughter I was just 8 points over. The Dr also told me the sugars in my urine were going up a little bit each time too. I'll have to do my 3 hr test in a week when I get back to town. Did any of you mama's with gestational diabetes deliver naturally or did you have a csection or have to be induced? I know I still have a chance to pass but I'm trying to prepare myself incase I fail the 3 hour.

@caffeine.fiend Thank you so much! That makes me feel a lot better. Just with the number a lot higher and the sugars going up in the urine made me nervous. I hope everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I’ve got gestational diabetes for the third time. All five of my babies have been delivered naturally, and only one with induction(not a GD baby). Neither of my GD babies were large, and induction was not discussed because things were progressing the way the doctor was happy with. I also had a baby in between my GD babies; had two three hour tests, but was free from GD.

When I was pregnant with my second baby(no GD), I wasn’t thinking about the 1 hr test, ate a couple of glazed donut holes on the way, and failed the test big time. When I took the 3 hour, I passed with flying colors. Also, sometimes fasting before the 1 hr can cause your number to spike dangerously.

@mrschanandlerbong95 Thank you so much! I'm going to try and start watching my sugar and carbs a lot more. When I did my 3 hour last time my 2 and 3 hours dropped a ton. So I'm hoping that it happens with this baby. I'm glad you passed!

I’m going to sprinkle some hope on your day. Lol I failed my 1hr by 66 on Monday (and I fasted). I took my 3 hour today and passed! I hope you pass!

but first this is the test I got excited about, I took it later yesterday morning at only 8dpo. Did I get excited for nothing? :( I didn't tell anyone other than preggie and hubby, I showed him the test and he was so happy it breaks my heart. Ik I still have a week before my period is even due so Ik If I was I'm very early but that negative this morning has me honestly crushed! what do you think by this test? what would you have thought? :( What would you be thinking now if you got a neg the next morning?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
