Failed my glucose test by 30 points now I have to do a 3 hour appointment.
Yes very @jnh199243 11 years together, 8 months married and 7 months pregnant lol. My husband is estatic! He's already talking about baby #2
well that's cool. you stayed for a good reason lol. r y'all excited about the baby
I'm glad I got this info.... I would've been so unprepared
@jnh199243, I moved here in highschool with my parents. They moved back but I met my now husband, went to college and decided to stay here with him!
that's cool!! what took you to Georgia? and omgosh yes they take blood every hour which is why I don't wanna go!!
I don't know if they told you this also but you can't eat for 12 hours before you go in either.
that's what I thought too until I got there. she took my blood 4 times because they have to take it before you even drink the darn drink to begin with then once every hour after
Hold up HOLD UP!!! @maybaby2016 no one told me that blood would be drawn every hour! I thought it was just after the 3 hours
@jnh199243, lol I was thinking the same thing. But I'm just going eat very strict until next week and then celebrate afterwards lol. I'm from Mobile AL by the way but I've been in Georgia a while now.
oh no, I just did my 3 hour on Monday. it was awful because they have to take your blood every hour. I just napped in my car between the hours...😩 glad it's over. good luck, I'm sure you will pass 😊
in Alabama they only do the 3 hour test now because they say the other isn't as accurate or something. been like that since my 2nd bby and I am almost the the point I have to do it and I don't wanna. lol that's a long time with no food
Thanks @sperdue22 I was having a perfectly good time now that the morning sickness was gone and I hit my 3rd trimester and now they trying to label me high risk!
Oh okay..... you can tell them to go stick themselves if you don't pass. As long as the baby okay that's all that matters. There are a lot of when that gets diabetes while pregnant, but it goes away after labor. So don't worry!
Yea @sperdue22 that's what it's for. Crazy thing is I took it during my 2nd trimester and passed. They requested that I take it again because I gained a lot of weight but during my 1st and 2nd trimester I lost a lot due to being nauseated a lot. And now that I have my appetite back and like to eat I've failed it!! I really don't want to re take this test.
that test is to check to see if you have diabetes bc of your sugar levels or no? what is it and what is it for@mrslaflare
lol we r on baby number 5 and my hubby is just as excited about this one as he was about our first one lol I love having a big family even thou we have to budget harder than some people
