Before having my second baby I was okay with my body. Now I am the heaviest I have ever been even bigger than my pregnancies. But because of me eating the foods I probably shouldn't have but was craving, my second baby is a chunk monster and is healthy even though he had an open heart surgery and pacemaker placement. Because of me eating like that he is doing so well. Of course I mean because I breastfed and still am. Wouldn't have it any other way. But as soon as he is done, I am focusing on my physical and mental health. 💪😊

Don’t get discouraged mama you’re only 2m pp. takes a year to put on the weight, and it can take a year to come off. Glad your baby is doing good

Every post partum experience is as unique as every pregnancy. What worked before may not this time, and your body is doing what it can to meet the demands it faces.
You have a great outlook on your situation, and if you feel the urge to work on your health sooner, you can focus on nutritious eating and incorporate exercise. You may not shed the pounds or lose sizes, but you'd probably improve your body image regardless.
It's hard to focus on yourself when you have a little one, especially one who is high needs. You got this one, Momma.

Oh girl I know exactly what you mean!!!! I've been eating so healthy lately(past year) and I'm breastfeeding and I'm not losing anything! I get so frustrated! I'm going on 2 years of breastfeeding I thought it would help! I'm still fat though lol. I can't wait till my son weans so I can melt this fat off because breastfeeding is not helping at all. I used to be so skinny 😭😭
