what to do with $100
I'm buying my friend 12 Sunbaby dipes, 1 RAR pail liner, 1 Alva wet bag, a baby kicks hemp insert (for overnight), and some coconut oil. and I'm giving her one of our RAR dipes for overnight.
I second another 12 Sunbabys and another night option. I have some fleece if you'd like me to make her a cover/shorties, or longies :-) I wouldn't add the more expensive brands until I had another days worth of diapers. Maybe, since they are still 2 for $20 a few Aplix Flip covers and inserts? Would be nice and easy for dad.
I use my Sunbabys at night with a CBI and either a blend or a bamboo trifold insert from my D'Lish SIO's.
Personally I would get some better quality diapers to mix in with the sunbabies. Even if it's only a few. Sunbabies won't last overnight and a lot of the times we get leaks during the day if our son wears his more than 2 hours. So they aren't good for going out of the house. Don't get me wrong, I love my sunbabies. I just wouldn't recommend to get 24 like I originally did. I like our bumgenius for night and going out. They are bulletproof!
I would def suggest another night time diaper. It's nice to have two so she has something every night to use. Another rar? I don't have experience with other night time diapers, just rars. A tots bots would be awesome for her to have and maybe a few more sunbabys for daytime? I like my swaddlebees and Charlie bananas (sized)
I didn't care for my 4.0s. but that'll, of course, be up to her. I've never used Charlie banana but I have some on the way.
her hubby said he'd only do it if it was like a sposie, so no flats, and he is the one who stays at home with their dd. so she's gotta get something he'll actually use. lol
I don't want to try to explain wool yet. lol. I don't want to scare her away! haha. it's def. intimidating at first. I was convinced I'd never used wool. it sounded so complicated
i suggested more sunbabys and then a couple of dipes of her choice to try. I'd recommend tots bots and bottombumpers. they are my favorite :)
oh and idk if she wants a whole stash of Sunbaby dipes :)
her daughter is almost 10 months. she'll be 1 on March 30th :)
Staying too hospital overnight I'll keep you ladies updated!!!
For breastfeeding Mamma's: do you make overnight oatmeal? Ive been looking on Pinterest for recipes and overnight oatmeal seem upper easy and convenient for me but a lot of them also call for flaxseed and Brewers yeast. Do you use those ingredients? If so, which would you recommend? I've been on Amazon and there's so many different ones, I'm overwhelmed.
Everyday I wake up like "ugh I'm still pregnant" I jus be hoping I go into labor overnight 😩
I think I'm even crazy for agreeing to do overnight .. I've been working 7 days a week.... Today I'm doing only 4 hours then my boss asked me to do overnight but I'm like I'm scheduled to do 12 hours tomorrow at 8 am-8 pm but apparently one of my coworkers got hurt so my crazy ass said yeah . 😣🙏 but that means overtime moneyyyyyyyy but it will be the last time I'm doing overnight .
Yesssss 10pm- 8 pm
no prefolds :) her dh stays home, he wants pockets or AIOs.
