For breastfeeding Mamma's: do you make overnight oatmeal? Ive been looking on Pinterest for recipes and overnight oatmeal seem upper easy and convenient for me but a lot of them also call for flaxseed and Brewers yeast. Do you use those ingredients? If so, which would you recommend? I've been on Amazon and there's so many different ones, I'm overwhelmed.
I just used now foods brewers yeast. Or they sell from bulk bins here, dunno the brand in the bulk bins though. I dont like flax personally
I've never been a fan of lemonade so I may skip that, but thank you!
I just ate two packages of instant oatmeal in the morning every morning drink lots of water had the occasional chocolate chip oatmeal cookie at night that I could buy from my sister's work had a water cup at night to drink when i woke up to feed and that has been enough for me so far then this ate all the good breastfeeding Foods that they say to eat.
@mom2les I went on the website last night but didn't see a starter pack. What would you suggest? I won't purchase anything right now, but I'll definitely keep them in mind.
Any type of oats is fine I use quick cooking oats

I've seen both in like Walmart, but wasn't sure if there was a brand better than another.
I make huge batches of steel cut oats with soy milk and just microwave a mug in the morning and night time
What do u add to it? Just the oatmeal and soy milk?
@soon2bmommyof4, yeah I make it really thick. And I don’t drink cow milk, that’s why I use soy. I don’t like to sweeten it. Personal preference. But I’m just saying it’s easy if you premake it and keep it in the fridge 😊
@flamingomom ok, thanks! I'll prob add fruit or something to sweeten it up a bit.
Did it help? I read that rolled/cut oats are better for helping milk supply.
@soon2bmommyof4 yea it helped they say steel cut is better but I couldn't find way I liked it and quickly it took longer to cook
@tristan-makes-5 that's where I've been looking also. I'm sort of addicted to Pinterest. Lol

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
