diaper covers? how many do I need? and what's your favorite cover for the nb size?

I've heard they are really good. but I want a trim fit. and all the thirsties duos I've seen on babies under like 10 lbs look baggy.

I highly, highly recommend thirsties duo wraps. They were small enough to fit under our daughters cord at 4 days (7lbs 10oz) and now fit her on the second rise at 12 weeks and 12 lbs. We had leaks once, when the rise needed to be adjusted. Nothing since then. She went 12 hours last night between changes (second night in a row) and her insert and doubler were both soaked and the wrap was wet in the inside, but not so much as a drop on the outside. The dual gussets have kept in many explosive poops, both ebf and ff bm's. The only negative is that everyone seems to have one cover with one rise snap that tends to come loose when putting the diaper on. For all the positives, I'd say this is a very minor negative. Just a bit of a nuisance.

does anybody have any covers they recommend other than the ones previously mentioned? :) and maybe the pros and cons of each, so we can decide which fits our needs best.

I agree on 6, that is what we currently have. I will be adding 2-4 more in addition for having 2 in cloth.

I would say 6 covers is good and I love my rumparooz lil Joey covers.

Ive heard 6? Not sure though because I don't have any experience with it yet. I've bought about 6 newborn and 5 size one thirsties so far.
