Awe the carseat & cover came ♡♡♡
Where did you guys find 0-3 month snow suites I've literally looked EVERYWHERE
Rave! New carseat, the Chicco Nextfit. LOVE THIS SEAT. Even the most carseat inept person can install this seat with latch. LOVE IT.
it is snowing! ☃❄
ladies... i know carseat covers are cute shit I wanted one myself but it's not safe. dont add ANYTHING that wasn't already in the carseat when you bought it. it's not tested with the seat and there VERY flammable...

I've used caraway cover with all my kids. (2 were born in KS) I never ever took them out and exposed them to the cold at that early age.

The car seat covers are easier to use and will keep your baby toasty warm and out of the wind.

Car seat cover cuz its easier to get ready and snow suit when he cant fit in anymore.

I have both and we will use both when leaving the hospital :) but after that probably just the car seat cover because he will grow out of his newborn size snow suit pretty quick and Arkansas winters are mostly a glorified fall :)

I'm using both just depends on the day n if it will be windy from KS lol

I bought both lol

I have both but only plan to put Lo in suit once he's out of the carseat (there's a issue with the suit being bulky and being able to strap Lo in) but I do have two carseat covers :)

in going to use cover with a nice blanket under it

I have both, I don't think my snowsuit is going to fit until after 4 weeks, so I'm going to use the carseat cover for the first while.

I've never heard of a car seat cover - but am due the same day as you! So helloooo due date buddy lol

Oh shoot I got a snow suit that's 3 months. But now that you mention the issue with the straps not being tight enough that totally makes sense...hmmm now I have to get a car seat cover. I'm due January 14th. Granted its Texas so it doesn't exactly get cold for a long time. But still for her first appointments and stuff I'll need to keep her warm.

I have both...I know it'll be cold here so she'll use both in the beginning

carseat cover. Snow suits are great if yoir gonna carry baby outside lots but when you get in the car and turn on the heater, it puts baby at a higher risk for overheating.

Thanks for all the input! I think I'll go with the carseat cover. Then later once she's here I can always get the snow suit if I feel like she needs it. I had registered for both but didn't get either one at my shower & I'm trying to cut down the list of stuff I need to buy. Thanks everyone! And hi due date buddy :)

How warm is car seat cover? Like will it stand -40c if needed? I don't plan to be outside much but it can get very cold and I got a snow suit for my little guy but maybe cover will be more convenient for short trips.

I'm going to use a car seat cover and a blanket. Had a lot of moms tell me that they prefer it over the snow suit. The car seat cover I have sorta looks like lambs wool and has a little matching hat.

My babies have been in freezing
Cold weather in their carseats with a hat, thick sweater, blanket, and carseat cover and ended up sweating. The covers keep it warm because their body heat is trapped.
