My cars been uninspected since December. But I have such a common car and drive like a grandma or so I’m told that it hasn’t been an issue. But today might actually be the day that I get it inspected ! Crossing my fingers. Hubby says this guy will go easy so hopefully nothing expensive needs done. I’d love to have a legal car since we’re going to be down to one car. And I’ll have to drive hubby everywhere since he’s losing his licenses next month. Ugh.

@damn.it.red, our state requires yearly inspections to make sure they meet certain requirements. It’s always annoying and expensive cause they always somethings wrong

@johnell, ohhh certain counties here make you get your car inspected. But not ours.

@johnell it sounds like you guys have two cars, correct me if I misinterpreted your post. If he's losing his license, why don't you just use his car? Assuming his car is up on inspections

@sweetsap88, because his isn’t either. Our lives suck lol. His needs something with the exhaust and we just haven’t been able to save the money. Just when we have close enough something goes wrong and then we have to use the money. His car is nicer however his got his windows are tinted and there’s laws here about that and I don’t want to get pulled over just for tint. My car should pass. It just runs loud. Not sure why other than that tires and everything are fine.

@johnell I'm sorry hun :( it'll get better, hopefully sooner rather than later. If your car is running loud you might have a hole in your exhaust, hopefully that's not it. If that's it, maybe it's something that can be patched and you won't have to replace the whole system.
You're right about the tints, no unnecessary worrying while on the road. Maybe you can get some cheap new tires

We have to get the inspections too. They are so annoying. I get why they have them but in my state (WV) the roads are so bad they are rough on our vehicles but yet they do nothing about the roads and then we have to spend thousands on repairs.
My husbands van needs inspected but it would cost us more than its worth to fix it just for a 14$ inspections sticker.
Luckily my van is fully legal and inspected so on his days off we drive my van but when he works he has to take his can cause he has equipment that's too dirty to be loaded into my van plus I ain't taking 4 car sears out every day lol
