A baby wipe did this to my sons face that what I was told when I pick my 2 year old up from daycare today! Word was he got ahold of a sharpie and the teacher wiped his face and his arm with the baby wipe to get it off!! Well he still had sharpie on his arm but 4 hours later my sons face still the red a swollen like it tuned raw!! I am furious I called the daycare again and asked for a incident report and if this is red tomorrow I’m calling the cops and having the cops tell me how to handle this because no child should be this red from a baby wipe mind you I provided the baby wipes so I know he has no reaction to them! Just getting worse every hour. He touches it and say it hurts and asked for a popsical for his face and a bandage..

@queenof3kingz I worked at the kids camp off sunrise and greenback I hated it there the owner and staff were horrible I only stayed there a month cuz I couldn't stand the way they ran things and treated there employees
@2014mama1993, it was at a kids camp in Folsom I’m looking at kinder care or a private preschool I go on maternity leave soon so I’ll be home for awhile but I still have a few months let
It may have not been done with much force necessarily, I've wiped Sharpie off My own kids before wife a wipe and just doing it long enough with the wipe will irritate.. I was surprises to see how irritated his skin was when I was done.. Just the common sense reaction to a given repeated motion. I personally dont think it needs to go as far as cops, mostly because it would be a waste of my time & what would they do? ID definitely be in their faces talking about what happen and based on reactions ID go from there. Hope the little guy feels ok, people are dumb. Glad I dont have to use day care with such a large family
Looks like they tried to scrub it off way to hard/long and turned his poor face raw! I would be pissed!!!

that definitely doesn't look like a mark from wiping a child's face it really does look like he got punched either way somthing was done with some type of force it looks like
@queenof3kingz that's crazy if ur child was in no danger and was telling them to stop they should have stopped and listened to him that sounds like a red flag :( I hate when teachers are like that cuz children are people too and have feelings and feel pain to.
@queenof3kingz, it looks like he got punched! If it was a sharpie they were scrubbing off they had to have scrubbed HARD af to make that kind of a mark. I’d be pissed.

I would have told them to leave it if I know they would have scrubbed that hard my 5 year old is at the same daycare and told me my son was crying for them to stop and they kept saying no u need this off your face and he said he got the marker from a teacher pocket
i would be furious to so ur emotions are compleatly understandable.did they at least call u before u picked him to to let u know what happend or anything? my center the director calls the parents when things happen like if a kid gets hurt or sick so the parent can decide what action to take to pick up the child or not etc. I'm sorry poor lil dude :(
iv worked in childcare field for years and still work in a child care center regardless they are wrong for having sharpies where kids can get to them I understand accidents happen but they can be avoided if rules are followed correctly and also rubbing that rough doesn't sound like it was fine very nicely I personally as a teacher at a child care center would have made a incident report and used a wipe but if it doesn't come off without force I'm not gonna scrub a child's face that hard I'd explain to the parent what happend and they I didn't think it would come off easily and didn't wanna irritate his face.

I would be so angry if this happen to my son I would be at that daycare hunting the person who done it down and then I take their head and slam there head into the carpet and rub their face against it until they get raw and see how they like being rubbed that rough! People don’t care nowadays about other people’s babies at all this is exactly why I don’t work so I can stay home with my boy and not have worry about accidents in daycare (which by the way this doesn’t look like just an accident to me it looks like the person who done this was probably aggravated with him and rubbed him really hard) I would literally have to be held down by 10 people to keep from killing someone, nobody should ever rub a child’s skin so hard that they get raw that is just common sense and if the person who done this didn’t know that then they shouldn’t be working in a daycare in the first place.
