Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
I need help I guess 😅 I think my water broke but I’m not sure. Everyone keeps saying it’ll keep trickling out but all I had was a big gush of fluid and then I peed a little while later but nothing since. I’m not having major contractions or anything right now. This happened maybe an hour ago? ETA: they’ve always broken my water at the hospital so I’m never had it break naturally.

3 days isn't that bad and our bodies are complicated. I've had times when my body skips a month or shifts my periods. Before I had my children, at least once a year something will happen where my period would shift from the beginning to the end of the month and vice versa. Or sometimes it would skip a month.

@annekam1022, it’s a slim chance, and since you were using 2 forms of birth control you probably aren’t. A negative test will give you piece of mind though😊

Nothing is ever 100% as far as protection goes. Stress is one of tue top 3 factors in late periods. Are you stressed?Sudden weight loss or gain can also cause late periods.

Take a test to be sure. Birth control is never 100%, I’m currently pregnant with a birth control baby.
