Okay so the doctors say to only lay a baby on there back. Peyton was fighting a nap literally all morning. She finally went to sleep but on her stomach. Any moms let there babies sleep on their stomachs? My mom and aunt said all there kids slept on their stomachs and they have 5 each lol

@capricorn_mommy_14, On the tummy for a nap while being supervised is fine. I would just be worried that would make it more difficult for baby to fall asleep on their back at night.

My personal opinion (and that's all it is - an opinion) is that if you're supervising baby closely during her nap on her tummy, that's fine because you can watch for potential airway obstructions.

@capricorn_mommy_14, I’ve done it as well while I was right there to watch over. With my first they said to have him on his stomach and by my third it had all changed.

I’m not talking bout letting her sleep on her stomach during the night or all the time. I’m just saying while she’s napping right next to me every once in awhile

My daughter slept on her stomach as soon as she gained control of her head. It's my opinion that the fear of SIDS keeps way too many mother's up at night and end up keeping our children up too because we make them uncomfortable while trying to do what we think is best for them.

I swaddle her but she has a habit of trying to bust out of it

I found that swaddle helped my girl sleep comfortably on her back. Otherwise, she fussed to be on stomach. I feared SIDS too much to let her sleep on stomach but that's a choice you will have to make. Once she was able to roll she's become a stomach sleeper.

Stomach is ok once they can roll back and forward themselves. It used to be normal to place babies on their tummy but contributed to higher rates of SIDS as @ek620, said.

Do you swaddle?

The rate of SIDS dropped by about 50% once people started placing their babies on their backs to sleep. I was too worried about SIDS to let my son sleep on his stomach until he could roll.

Since everyone is telling me to.. Here it is.. Well on mom life you stated your procedure was for a hole in your stomach.. But on instagram you "kicked cancers ass" and basically had throat cancer?.. I don't like liars!! Why lie?! I lost the people i loved most to cancer! That's not something to fucking joke about! I lost all respect for you! And if you really do have cancer why lie on mom life saying it was for a hole in your stomach?it just makes no sense to me!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
