Ladies after you give birth how long do you plan on staying home from work or are you switching to stay at home mom ??
Me: I don’t think the SAHM thing is for me at all so I plan to take 4-6 months off of work
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻 ♀ 🤷🏻 ♀

Let me rant to you ladies real quick. I am so tired of peoples reactions to “what do you plan on doing after the baby?” Personally I plan on staying home and raising my daughter🤷🏼 ♀ the reactions I get piss me off! “You’ll have a lot of time on your hands” “ 3 years is a long time to not do school or work” This may be my first child but I do not down play stay at home moms! THAT IS A JOB!
Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

I would kill for 6 months off! We get six weeks because it's a small childcare center and the owner doesn't care about his employees. And since there's less then 15 staff members, we dont even get the 12 weeks most places have to give you. I would love to stay at home for at least the first year, but I dont think our budget will allow that. Once I am pregnant though I'm going to be looking for a new job- this center doesn't accept children under two, and I want my baby to go to a center I work at so I can breastfeed and check in on them like a paranoid dork, lol.
