And I had a epidural with my daughter but I didn't get it until I was 8cm dilated. I can compare having a kidney stone and being 8cm dilated as almost identical pains. Except with labor I kind of knew when I was fixing to get a little break between contractions. With stones ya never know when it's gonna chill out for a minute 😬 I feel for you honey I truly do!! I remember begging God to just take me home at one point during a stone, it's not fun. BUT not everyone has THAT bad of pain. It can also depend on how big and sharp the stone is. I've not even realized I had one until I peed before! It's just luck of the draw unfortunately. You could just have moderate pain and it not get to the point of begging God lol I will keep you in my prayers though that you pass it soon. I remember my doctor telling me cranberry juice was the best thing to drink with one. I just get the oceanspray grangrape juice, it tastes better to me lol

Yeahhhh it's pretty awful!! Even though the worst pain is when they're moving you really want that, you want them to move down the tubes and into your bladder so you can pass them. It can set up infection too. Drink lots and lots of fluids and walk, that should get it moving. Also, I would call your doc and see about prescribing you Flomax, it opens up the tubes a little and makes it easier to pass! Until then DRINK EVERYTHING AND WALK!

@krs1415, @boymomx3, @techie_grrl, I had labs done two months ago and my doc said I’m at high risk for developing them. Over those months I get random extreme sharp pains but that’s about it. I feel like they’re maybe slowly growing or moving? Idk how it works. But the pain is like being stabbed in the back/side. I heard it’s worse than labor which terrifies me cause my natural labor was horrible.

I'm not sure how similar to gallstones they are, but when I had a gallstone drop into my pancreatic duct, I was pretty sure that I was dying. 😕

Id rather go threw natural labor again then a kidney stone I get a few of them a year 😞

I have an old pill bottle with 20 of mine that I caught in it, was supposed to have them tested but never did😂 they truly do suck. I compare it to labor all the time. I would actually rather feel contractions than I would a kidney stone!!
