Stains

What's the best way to get stains out? I washed a some new clothes and the colors bled so now there's red on a onesie where it shouldn't be. Any ideas on how to get it out? I've used spray and wash pretreatment but it didn't get all of it. And it hasn't been dried just laid over a clothesline.
