Anyone have any tips for removing stains?? Evelyn keeps coming home from nursery covered in paint and no matter how many times I wash her clothes it's just not coming out! I have had to throw away so many nice outfits but it's getting too expensive to replace

I soak all the stained clothes in hot water and add washing powder and leave it for about 2 nights, then throw it in the washing machine. It removes all the stains, except permanent markers

@chloeanabelle.xo, washing up liquid is great for getting stains out of things. Any does but you can buy an American brand called Dawn on amazon and it’s brilliant. A bit expensive but I keep a bottle in just fur baby clothes.

We had nursery clothes and then nice clothes for at home. I'd just buy the cheap £2 t-shirts from asda for nursery and often sent him in, in the stained ones.

For white clothes I make a paste with non-bio washing powder and water and put it on the stain and scrub, I don't recommend it for darks or brights though as I did it once on my OH's joggers and bleached them😂xx

@jamieleighx @courtniek98x @sara-lou86 my sister in law just suggested rinsing in cold water and then scrubbing with washing up liquid and the stains have almost gone. I reckon a cool wash with vanish might just clear up the residue

I picked up this in Aldi yesterday, works brilliantly getting food stains out of theos clothes! Not sure if it would be any good for pain but it's only £2 so worth a shot? X

@georgina-ox unfortunately they don't have a uniform but it might be something I suggest to them. If all the kids wore a polo shirt I'm sure it would be easier for all the parents

@mimibear, no problem ☺️ I bought mine nearly a year ago and I’ve still got 4 tubs left. I use them to clean everywhere! Bathroom, kitchen, in my mop bucket, down the toilet haha x

@sara-lou86 evelyn does too but I'm running our of nursery clothes so sent her in with nice clothes this morning and they are now ruined :/. I have everything in soak with vanish atm so hoping it comes out! I don't wanna have to send her in clothes which are covered in paint because I don't want them thinking she's dirty lol

My boys have nursery clothes and clothes for everywhere else for this reason lol. Vanish gold helps sometimes but paint is really stubborn.
