Baby shower centerpieces

What's a good DIY & cheap idea for baby shower centerpieces? I was thinking about making cake pops and doing a little display in the middle of each table, but I'm thinking that with the two other cakes we are serving that it might be too much cake. Any suggestions or ideas?
