I have the osocozy flats. They work and they're affordable. I liked the mini kite fold for the newborn stage. And now at 3 months old I like the diaper bag fold on my chunky monkey. For nb I preferred using prefolds b/c they were faster for changes. I got the imagine prefolds from nikis diapers which are pretty cheap. It might b nice to have a combo of flats and prefolds for nbs.

Love our fst's. Less than $1 each at Walmart (pack of 5 for $4.88). I've folded them and used with a snappi, but now I mostly stuff my pockets with them. They wash super well and line dry really fast.

We use unbleached osocozy too. We use either thirsties duo covers or wool interlock.

I don't like the thick fancy ones, especially for newborns. I LOVE my Osocozy organic flats. They are a perfect size, and they aren't folded over and hemmed around the edges, so I can fold them and make lots of layers without the edges getting thick and weird. They are also nice and square which is important for a lot of folds. They are a little more expensive around $4 each, but I've used them nonstop for over 2 1/2 years and they still look brand new after probably 300 uses. All my fancier diapers are starting to look pretty bad these days.

I don't have much experience with them, but I know you can get cheap ones and fancier ones. I've seen some WAHM ones that are like. $8 or. $9 each. I think maybe Grovia and Blueberry make some, maybe Thirsties. I know GMD has some too.

Ya fst are super cheap and make great flats, even for jeffery. I think they would be perfect for newborns. not sure if flats come in sizes of are one size.

I love my flour sack towels. I use them as flats. They are super absorbent and cheap too!
