Today didn’t go as planned, we went to the humane society and mauriz fell in love with a dog.. but my husband wasn’t feeling the whole situation even though we decided to get a dog, well mauriz walked out crying and I walked out beyond pissed because my baby was so hurt and my husband changed his mind about getting a dog once we was there 🤬
After years of waiting, I’m basically prepared to get a dog without my husbands blessing. Dogs bring me joy and we have the means to care but he despises animals. Thoughts?
Family friendly guard dogs? Which are the best? We were planning on getting a new dog but after reading that Peeping Tom post a few days ago, I now know it needs to be a good guard dog/protector of my babies!!
I’ve realized that people are always trying to get away from their husbands like oh u need a vacay away from my kids and husband ASAP Loll it’s funny bc to me a vacay IS with my husband we have so much fun together !! He’s like my bestie !
Dog rant! We’ve had our large dog for 10 years. For the most part he was an outside dog until a year or so ago. He would go crazy ( bite the door and start bleeding to come in.) I have allergies so I’m not a dog person. We bought a huge kennel this fit him comfortably so he can stay inside for the most part. He did good, that lasted a year until a few months ago he’d go crazy and do the same thing to get out of the cage. My husband bought 2 large sections of carpet for the 2 living rooms. While we are home we is behaved and stays on either carpet. My 16 year old and myself let him out several times a day. With that being said when we are asleep or gone he pisses and craps on my expensive area carpet and sometimes our rugs and tile. I’m going crazy because no matter what I do I smell piss and I’m so grossed out. My 5 year old plays on these floors! My husband and son can live like this but I can’t! I’m going to start working soon and he cannot be home range free . We’ve had him so long and I’m gonna be the bad guy if I surrender him.

@heera, I’ll have to wait till Tuesday now 🤦🏻♀️ they’re closed tomorrow and close at 5 today! I just hope it’ll still be there... there was so many people there today

@mommy_x3 I am a Professional Pet groomer.19 yrs doing this.rem dog's/need to be walked daily,fed,bathed,nails filed, see a vet , see a groomer and pick up shit it's a law,,,,it a lot of responsibility..I volunteered 1 yr in the humane society yrs ago pure breed dog's Everyone thinks is Soo cute even they end up In it...just some things to think about ..your husband shouldn't have told your son get a dog and now change his mind once he's there that's mean...to do. .and I wouldn't leave the nicest dog alone ever with a child

@caiticat, that’s the things it’s a dog who was previously owned already trained and everything so it’s not like it was a huge deal with training it! It just made me mad that he agreed to get our boys a dog and then my son fell in love with one and then he changes his mind...
