Do you believe in Ghosts?

Jaymie my reason is logic. Its not logical. It can never be proven and too many religions ALL believe they are right. In another situation talking yo an invisible entity and believing in something you cant see/hear/ feel would be called madness.

I believe in spirits. Some good and some are bad. I have actually encountered a few. I believe in a higher power but not organized religion.

I believe in ghosts, but not in god.

Who believes in ghost and not God?

I believe in science and logic

Interesting to believe in ghosts and not God.

I do believe in God and to an extent, ghost. But I have a question for everyone who says they don't believe in God.

What's your reason that you don't? And for the ones that say, I'll believe it when I see it, when you do see God it's probably gonna be too late to believe in him.

I'm not being a smarta$$, I just really wanna know. I never met someone who doesn't believe in God.

Also, here are a few other a scriptures about how much God cares about the animals.

“Ask the animals, and they will teach you...In God’s hand is the life of every creature, and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:7 and10)

“A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal.” (Proverbs 12:10)

I have never heard of that verse you are referring to and I think maybe, it was a bad interpretation? I am not sure but "all dogs go to heaven" IMO! :-)

I'm agnostic and don't believe in ghosts. It's one of those "until I see it, that's when I'll believe". Same thing with God.

I believe in ghosts.. I used to think that we were already in hell and that's why u see lost spirits still here..weird but that's what I used to think when I was younger lol

I don't believe in god as for ghosts I think of Casper when I hear this word but I do believe in a after life energy, nothing that has to do with god or heaven

I'm an atheist but I do believe that there are energies that exist that we don't have the ability to see or experience properly (maybe that using only 10% of our brains or something) so we call those energies "ghosts". I think we as a species are so much more interconnected than we know and we have certain abilities that get muted because we're so caught up in all the modern bull s*** and problems that we create for ourselves. Some people are more attuned to those abilities and might be better at experiencing those energies. So yes, in a sense they exist but not in the traditional sense.

I believe in God and demons... and I believe that ghosts are really evil demons, and spirits are those in heaven. It depends on the feeling you get with supernatural stuff like a eerie feeling or a peaceful one.

I believe in ghosts as I have been witness to supernatural events (and therefore IMO, have proof). I do not believe in God.

I'm a big believer in God, and because I follow the bible and only the bible, I also believe in Satan.

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9 NKJV)

The angels of Satan in the verse above are what I believe roams the earth deceiving as "ghosts" I do not believe in a literal physical hell yet, I believe there will be one after judgment, but not now. I also don't believe that you go straight to heaven after you die. If no one is in hell, then no one is in heaven either! (except moses and a few others mentioned in the bible)

Other bible verses that do not support life after death.

For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 NKJV)

Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7 NKJV)

The "spirit" in that verse is 'breath' in the original Greek. Which I believe is the breath of life, not an actual thinking entity.

I am agnostic, I dont believe in god, I believe more so in different realms. I do believe in ghosts and spirits, but I dont think all of them are evil. I think some demons can take the shape of those you were once close to that have passed on to get a better connection to you, to open a door for them per say. But I also believe sometimes maybe there are lost souls who are stuck in this realm. I believe in the whole 'unfinished business' and think that if a soul really wanted to stay, they could. I believe in demons, I think they're just negative energy. (If you think about it everything is made up of energy)

So demons and spirits, yes. God and the devil, no. At least not in the way Christians and the Bible perceive it. I think its all more about the natural balace of good and evil negative and positive.

I believe in both. My religion believes everyone is waiting for judgment day after the second coming. So I believe everyone who has passed away is still walking the earth tell the second coming which no man knows the day or time.

Well I don't believe ghosts or any kind of being like that could possibly exist. I do pray to god.. I think the mind is marvellous tool can do things that makes us believe in things like this topic. I can't honestly see why anyone would want too see things like this..

I think spirits and demons are used as Ghost. I believe in God, spirits, and demons. I believe spirits can take the form of people that are no longer amongst us.

I believe in both but I didn't remember the bible actually saying where people go after death. B/c we're all waiting for judgement day & we will all be judged at the same time. So, I believe when people die they stay here and some choose to mess with us and some don't. Not all ghosts are evil.

If there is a heaven, I believe animals go to "heaven". I couldn't imagine being in heaven without my dog. if it is our heaven it would mean we were happy. And my dog made me happy

ghost, god, aliens, mermaids, bigfoot, demons, devil, guradian angels, possessions. anything thats supernatural...

i strongly believe in ghost because my sisters and i caught a few on camera.

@dharma- I think that anything that can love has a soul! I definitely think my dog is in heaven, with tons of other dogs, cats, horses, etc.

I believe in both.. When people die they don't go to heaven or hell they have to wait for judgement day. So while waiting some souls RIP and some don't that's where we get ghost from

I agree with AMJ. I totally believe in God, and "ghosts" are demons. I believe that demons can haunt you or show themselves to you however they wish. That being said, I personally have never had anything happen to me.

I have thought that maybe ghosts were spirits of people that didn't go to heaven when they died or maybe demons... But then I thought that not all ghosts are bad or evil, some might even be people you knew, so I don't know, that's where I get a little cofused! LOL!!

I believe spirits and ghost are demons. And I do believe in God.

I believe in God, and I believe in spirits. But I believe that all spirits are demonic. If you encounter something that you think is a loved one, I believe it's just a demon taking the form of something familiar to you so it will be allowed into your life easier. Now I say that, but I have never experienced anything like a ghost of a loved one. I would probably be thrown for a loop if I was to have a spirit in my home and I thought it was someone I loved.

I dont. It scares me too much. However I was at my friends house once waiting for her and her.fiancé to get back. First time being there. I heard soneone walking in THE hall and freaked. Called her and she said "yea.thats just Justin making sure everything is ok" Justin was her dead husband. I freaked!! I was like ok Justin stop scaring me!!

I believe in god, I also believe in ghosts. I think most ghost are evil though, like they are lost souls and stuck on earth. Idk, I'm to tired to be thinking deep right now lol
