Strenuous job and pregnant!

I work as a home health aide but in a facility. I do not want to leave my job because I like it, and in reality my fiancé and I need both of our incomes for as long as possible. My concern is I work with the elderly at job place of employment. They have a lot of falls and helping them with activities of daily living. I feel like as I progress in my pregnancy that I might potentially get hurt. Is this a concern I should bring up to my doctor? I don't want to harm my baby or myself at all while working. HELP PLEASE! thanks in advance.

I'm also a Cna in a facility, talk to your doctor if your not feeling comfortable. I was limited to not do complete lifts and then on light duty @ 5 months, take it easy and do not do anything your uncomfortable with.

The issue is there is only a total of 3 of us to 55+ residents. Between our med pass and ADL's we wouldn't be able to assist all residents. I don't know if it also makes a difference that I had a LEEP done about a year ago and they took out 7mm of my uterus.

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. So I finally told my job that I’m pregnant now that I’ve reached my second trimester, and my boss said she wants a note every month saying I can still work or I will be terminated, I feel like she is making my pregnancy into an illness and I feel extreme discriminated, Also I have asked others who are pregnant and who have been pregnant there and no one else has been told they need to do this, I’ve worked through all my pregnancies and never had a job tell me I need a note to keep working because I am pregnant, I feel like they pick and chose who they want to pick on , does this sound normal to anyone has anyone else experienced something like this I honestly am ready to contact a lawyer I 100% feel like it’s discrimination what do y’all think ?
