Wine while prego
Just curious to see what everyone thinks about having the occasional glass of wine while pregnant. I have not, but I have friends who do. I've heard that you shouldn't and I've also heard that it doesn't hurt..
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Has anyone's doctor actually encouraged or recommended red wine while pregnant? Just curious. Never done it, but always heard it was fine.

Have any mamas drank wine while pregnant? I've seen some do it and I've heard red wine is actually good for the baby but I don't really know. 😐🤔
I seriously feel like I am dying.😢 I've never heard of dizziness of balance while pregnant. I don't think that's part of a symptom. 😖😪😓😢😢

You'll get mostly no's and a lot of anger for this. I have had an occasional glass with both pregnancies. To each their own. The food we eat is just as bad lol

Ive heard red wine is okay.. I bought a bottle of red wine months ago and just never drank it. I let everyone else have it.. I got scared..

Personally I see nothing wrong with a small (like 4oz) glass of wine occasionally. That is no where near enough for you to feel tipsy and only a small fraction of what you drink crosses the placenta. Personally I haven't because A) I don't like wine and wouldn't drink liquor pregnant and B) I've never been a frequent or heavy drinker, but to me if I'm going to drink, I want to get a small buzz, so there's no point. But yeah, you're going to get a lot of crap for even asking. :/

I think it's so stupid if people give you hate over just asking a question. Jeez. But like, usually the purpose of drinking is to get a buzz, which you probably shouldn't do while pregnant so yea, there is no point.

I could never do it. I always thought what if and if something did happen to my baby I wouldn't be able to live with myself. That's just my personal choice.

I tried a small glass of wine once in my second trimester, got maybe halfway through it, and it gave me the worst stomach ache. I was in the bathroom all night regretting it, so I decided not to try it again until after I'd had the baby.
