Constipation
How do you deal with this? My son always seems to get constipated and pass hard rabbit droppings (green) and he seems to hurt him :/ I've tried massaging his belly, a warm bath, rotating his legs. I feel so helpless

Need help. My son is 1 month old and he's constipated what can I give to him that y'all done for y'all babies I called his Dr and told her he was constipated and she didn't seem to care
ladies who bottle feed have any of your little ones got constipated? we recently changed his milk and the health visitor said to give him 1oz of cooled boiled water between feeds, he doesn't seem to want it just gargles it in his mouth, I've tried doing bicycles legs and rubbing his belly.. anything else I can try?
Seems to be enjoying his new highchair 😄but he ditched the snack and played with the wrapper 😂
Ugh I think my newborn may be constipated.. His last 3 diapers have consisted of something like this instead of the regular wet poop he does.. Looks like constipation, right?

Thanks ladies, I will deffo be changing his milk if it doesn't work, I feel so useless when he's in pain. No one tells you this when your pregnant lol. X

I'd seriously consider changing Los milk, if you don't want to do that though a carton of ready made a day normally keeps things moving x

Our little girl this morning got her poop stuck for 30 mins, she was screaming her head off n all I did was push her legs back (like how we have our legs when giving birth lol) and waited until she cried/squeezed then had to assist by breaking bits away. Not a nice thing to do :( gave her cool boiled water though straight after and within the hour she pooped normal again x

We used to use lactulose with our son, but he was older. Personally I would give it to him before his feed, but id double check that with a gp. Tip: clean tje syringe or spoon asap after use. Its like glue that stuff.

Sma made my son constipated. Changed to cow & gate, then it was very regular lol x

Does the packaging or leaflet with lactulose not give any direction at all? I know some mums on here have used it for their babies so can hopefully advise, otherwise you could ring GP surgery to ask GP to call you back if you need to know right away x

He gave us lactulose to see how we go gotta give him it twice a day but not sure at what times and if it should be before a feed, in between feeds or after a feed

Is he formula fed? If so, try changing the formula he's on - I don't know which are the best ones but I'm sure other mums could advise x
